Had the NY Strip pan seared, it was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! The roasted potatoes were to die for and the wings were the best I have had on Long Island. It was my first time going to this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back! Service was also fantastic! Less

My sister and I brought a friend to celebrate his birthday and to see the band Kymistry 101. Dinner was delicious, atmosphere great, especially looking out at the water. As a boater I have always enjoyed coming to this establishment throughout the years as it is easy to get to by water and has ample docking. We were eager to try the new venue early this season and have to say we were surprised how good it was. In fact it was so good we had to try it again the following week, and once again there were no disappointments. Since then we have been back multiple times with friends and family for both lunch and dinner and every time it has been fantastic! The calypso calamari appetizer is a must and the tacos (shrimp, chicken, and lobster) are delicious. Pretty much anything with the Vern sauce is a must try! The burgers and steaks are delicious as well. The Vern is a great addition to waterfront dining and we look forward to going back! Less

This place is awesome. Don't know what to talk about 1st. So many good things to say... I ordered the duck and my wife got the shrimp & scallops over pasta. Everything was excellent the duck melted in your mouth, and never enjoyed roasted potatoes like I did at Vern. My wife's dinner was awesome as well, the sauce was delicious and the pasta cooked perfectly. My waiters name was Christian, professional, friendly, and efficient. Really can't say enough... my friend had told me the chef was awesome and that is fact. Less
