I’ve always been spoiled when it comes to my closets and pantry. When I bought a home five years ago in Indiana, I hired Closets by Design to install all of them. They were fairly OK, but after living with them for a while, I realized that the design wasn’t quite right and I was not utilizing all of my space properly. When I bought my new DR Horton home in Gallatin, Tennessee very recently, I called Up Closets and Angie went over the very next day during the final walk-through, which I did not attend, she got measurements and she placed my order immediately. Five weeks later she installed my closet and pantry, and I kept thinking that I was not going to have near enough room. She kept reassuring me that I would have plenty of room. Well, Angie was correct, and not only do I have enough room, I have more than enough room so I will be moving things around, especially in my pantry over the next month or two. The best part is that I don’t need to bend down into those horrible cabinets in the kitchen to get my cooking supplies and I do not have to shuffle through all of my oils, vinegars and spices in order to cook a nice meal. It is all laid out wonderfully in my pantry with room to spare. Her quality is better than the other companies, and the thing I noticed the most is that the little shelf holders that Up Closets uses will actually lock the shelves in place, so there’s no chance of a shelf falling down with one of those clips falling off. If you’ve had adjustable shelves, I think you understand what I’m talking about. She utilized my space wonderfully, and I will have her complete my linen and coat closets in the near future.
