I’ve used several private duty nursing agencies in S. FL and I can definitively say that Horizons is far superior in every imaginable way compared to the rest! When they say they are a full service agency, I mean they’re truly full service. Whether it’s a certified companion (CNA) to drive you to a doctors appointment, or to the grocery store they do it. Pick up & administer medications, go to the doctors office, go to the grocery store, cook, feed, light house cleaning, to laundry and making beds…even walking the dog! The owner of the company is a hands on owner & accessible if needed (although the staff is extremely competent & reliable, and treats your parents as if they were there own. I wish I found Horizons before I went through the stress of the other agencies who told me everything I wanted to hear, but when I needed something important…they didn’t deliver. Horizons always stepped up to the plate & I couldn’t be happier!! Give them a try. I’m in Broward county, and I referred a friend to them in Palm Beach county and they were just as pleased & stress free using them in Palm Beach as I was in Ft. Lauderdale!
