After all the bad weather Mayer Tree was able to trim the branches of my pine trees. They had to trapse through the snow in my back yard to get to the trees. Then back out to mulch the branches in the driveway. I had to leave for a doctor's appointment, so I wasn't able to see the completion. When I got back home, I was very pleased at the job they did and especially the cleanup they performed. Great job!

My two experiences with Mayer involved pruning some large shrubs and a few trees. Not a big job for a tree company, but they provided superior service for our yard. Not only do they know their stuff, but they care about that stuff, demonstrated by the time they take in their work. I always learn something new about what grows in our yard from the team. To me, this is not landscaping, it is involvement with the living things we live amongst that are more important than most of us realize.

So, you lost the chance to keep it private.On Wednesday 1/28/2026 I and another employee witnessed 2 of your employees torment and terrify a local squirrel. They were parked at the Turnpike Plaza, getting pizza from Tripoli's in North Andover. There is a local squirrel who has also discovered the pizza, along with other bakery treats. He comes everyday to sort through the outside trash bin to get a snack. He's fairly tame and used to people. He minds his business and bothers nobody. Yet your 2 employees who saw him on the bin having his treat, thought it was funny to run after him, circle him and chase him just for fun. Makes you wonder how they treat other wild life they encounter when performing tree service. The plaza has lots of cameras.

I recently had two crews from Mayer Tree come out—one removal crew with a crane and one pruning crew with a bucket truck—and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. From my initial walkthrough with Rich, who was extremely knowledgeable, to scheduling with David, everything was smooth, professional, and well-organized.
