I cannot say enough about Zena Spektor and her team. She literally has helped me change my life. My immigration story started in 2016. I came to this country to marry my then-wife. Things did not turn out as expected and I ended up on a VAWA petition to stay in this country. For whatever reason, my case continued to drag on and on. I started to receive deportation notifications and began to truly fear for my future. Between 2017 and 2021, I tried two different lawyers, but none of them worked for me. They were very unresponsive, too busy to talk to me, and pricey. I was on the verge of being deported. I found Zena Spektor in 2021 and my immigration journey began to change for the better almost immediately. Her prices were more than fair, she listened to my testimony and walked me through every possible step I needed to navigate. When my case was delayed another 5 years (not to mention what the COVID-19 Pandemic did to USCIS) she proposed a Mandemus Action. I had heard about this step but knew I could not afford it. She offered to complete this process for a very reasonable fee and allowed me to pay for it over a short period of time. Within 60 days of submitting my mandamus, I had a message directly from USCIS about what was causing my delay. Once I completed that, not even 90 days later, I had a green card in my hand. I cannot thank Zena and her amazing team enough for everything she’s done for me. I am very much looking forward to my new life here in the States and finally traveling home and visiting my family whom I’ve missed dearly. At the call - I once again explained my case and booked an appointment with the receptionist. Of course, since they do not accept appointments on the weekend, I had to take a day off of work. When I went in their office - the receptionist was nice enough to ask me to wait, while the lawyer was sitting in his office with his legs up the table. For me personally - that's a bit unprofessional when you have glass doors. After waiting for a bit, the lawyer came to me and told me that they do not deal with cases like mine and he suggested I see a different lawyer. Absolutely unacceptable!!! They could have easily told me that over the phone and save me the trouble of going there. When asked why I wasn't told that in advance - the lawyer was extremely rude telling me that I never said what my case was, since it is not in his notes. On top of that - several days later I get a text message - a reminder out of nowhere that my monthly payment is due ... I would not recommend this company at all .. Less
