We used Septic 911 in an emergency when our septic tank in our newly purchased home backed up. After using them, and my husband talking with them - we decided to let them install risers. We wanted a specific size, so they would not show above ground. Upon installation we realized they had not installed the correct risers, and after several visits they finally installed the correct risers. During the initial riser installation, there was water found around the septic and the septic was full again, meaning we were having draining issues out into the field. Without inspection, Without digging the drain field up, without checking if there was a block first or sludge in the drain field or any pipes leading to the leech field - they automatically said we needed extenders and wanted to charge over $6,000. There was no testing to come up with this conclusion: This could have RUINED our entire system had we just said “alright” and didn’t get another opinion. After using a different contractor and the county, come to find out it was due to a blocked drain field and we only needed a section of the drain field repaired. Also, septic 911 did not seal our risers, meaning groundwater was seeping into the septic through the risers, adding even more stress on an already stressed system. This is also something we are now having to pay to have done, on top of the $600 we already paid for risers and the drama that ensued with using this company. I wholeheartedly do not recommend and will not use them again. I have attached pictures of the unsealed risers. Less

We agreed on a certain height and they installed to tall risers and tried to hide it with mound of dirt. After finally installing correct risers all of a sudden something is wrong with our leach field that’s been working fine and wants us to pay thousands to fix it.
