I spent a week in Malta and CF Martell and attended 4 group classes and went to open gym 4x as well. I must say I quite enjoyed coaching in the classes, there is a great focus on a proper warmup and technique drill before starting the WoD which I found quite beneficial for members and it's not always the standard. The local community is also welcoming and I enjoyed team workouts as well. Both Vitaly and Alina are kind and attentive to all your needs and I felt satisfied during all of my visits. I can definitely recommend whether you're a local thinking about starting your crossfit journey (you definitely should!) or a visitor who's deciding for a place to workout during your stay! Less

The programming is great, the warmup really helps you get ready for the workout, and the coaching and instruction is very helpful! I started CrossFit for the first time back August 2020 with CrossFit Martell. Never did any form of weightlifting or functional training before, only running and yoga. It complimented them both so well and it was so fun to have another exercise that I enjoyed. This gym is perfect for the seasoned cross fitter, or someone completely new to the exercise, Vitaly, Alina are not only very knowledgeable and welcoming, their encouraging and create and fun environment. Not only that, the people that go to this gym help and encourage a lot too. I started crossfit again after having my first baby. I was scared, but Alina helped give me alternative movements when I struggled. I was also welcomed dearly when I finally arrived for my first workout.+ Easy booking system via PushPress (in my case I was able to pre-book my classes before I even arrived in Malta)+ Daily classes+ If you are staying near Gzira, then the location is perfectly situated in the center of the district and good to reach+ Competent trainers (the trainers are very experienced and have a good eye for evaluating what an athlete is capable of - they will push you when you need it but not beyond your limits)+ Very good mix of strength and cardio throughout workouts+ WOD's are designed to be challenging even for seasoned athletesThe box itself is rather small in comparison to other boxes I have trained in, but usually the classes are designed in a way that there is enough equipment for all participants.Thank you for making it possible to work on my fitness during my travels.Highly recommended! I have never been an athletic person and my experience with sports was non-existent. I came to Malta to visit my mom and she took me with her for a Beach WOD with the Martell CrossFit Gym. First of all I think it is an amazing idea working out outdoor. The event was well organised and the location was scenic. Secondly, I was very impressed with the fantastic people who form a greatcommunity. At some point I felt sick and some members I saw for the first time took care of me while my mom was working out. Both the members and the trainers were very friendly and attentive.
