We have been going here for a few years, I will speak to the 3 medical professionals we have seen who are still there with the intent of helping parents understand my concerns and praises. Working in the medical field is extremely challenging these days especially with such a variety of perspectives and parenting styles out there. With that said, Staff is friendly, however I have had some concerns with Doctors. Doctor carter is nice but I left feeling like she said a lot without really taking care of my concerns. She said her perspective repeatedly without giving me an opening to respond. I came in due to a concern over a potential vaccine reaction and was met with dismissiveness and what felt like a lecture on why this sudden rash couldn't possibly be from a vaccine, though they accommodated my request to postpone the next dose until my child was older to be on the safe side. I would have trusted this interaction much more if she entertained the possibility that the rash could be related and took the time to research if there were other cases like this, or given me some compassion for something that felt so scary in my infant. We met with Dr. Robinson recently and while she was friendly, and attentive to detail, she was adamant about things like making sure I never feed my toddler at night because it would set a bad habit. She said this multiple times even though I had stated my child sleeps fine now at night. This felt much more like unsolicited parenting advice than actual medical care, and I cant imagine refusing my toddler who goes through growth spurts and is in bed for 12 hours overnight some food if she's hungry at 2 years old. I would rather deal with a "bad habit" then leave her hungry and crying. Over all the visit was fine, I just would rather not see her again due to enough of those moments where I found myself chosing to smile and nod through the adament advice that I had very different views on as a parent. We had a wonderful experience with the nurse practitioner. I saw her for my oldest when she had an ear infection and we left with a solid plan to address it. She listened well, asked excellent questions, was friendly and got us the help we needed.
