Exceptional results! Mojo came to us as a 2-month old Beagle puppy in need of a home. He also came with all of the things that are typical of a Beagle puppy -- smart, stubborn, high-energy, full of mischief, and much in need of training. After ten days of puppy camp with Corrine he was a different puppy, still full of energy but able to listen, and to respond to basic commands of sit, down, and place. After 3 weeks of adult training, and now at 7 months old, he is a joy to have as part of the pack (along with 3 older dogs). So many things that he learned, but the most important are that he comes when called and I trust him to be off leash at the dog parks. The thing that I really appreciate about Corrine's training style is that she got him to this point without changing the spirit of this little dog. He is still a happy, active, and high-energy puppy but now a well-behaved puppy too. In the coming years he is going to be a wonderful companion. Thanks, Corrine! I will forever be grateful for Stellar Canine! Our 9 month old cockapoo was a little too rambunctious for her own good! She did not have an off switch. Anytime she greeted people, whether at our home or on a walk, she would jump on them and just go crazy! Nothing we tried worked. I took her to obedience classes, but none of the tools we learned seemed to work for her. I googled obedience training, and found stellar Canine. After looking at all of their reviews and talking to them, I realized it was worth a try. I was worried she would forget me or act like a different dog in three weeks but she came home the same happy goofy pup, except she is so much smarter! We now have all kinds of tools to use for many situations. From sit, place and heel, I no longer have to be afraid to have people come to the house. Now when we go on walks, we can stop and visit with people and I just tell her to sit and she sits and waits like a very good girl. We have a lot of deer at our home and at a piece of vacation property and I no longer have to worry about her chasing them, it’s absolutely amazing! If there were 10 stars for ratings, we would give Stellar Canine Academy a "15"! We had our 10-month boxer girl at their 3-month training camp - and it was the greatest experience! Kristen was very considerate, informative, attentive to us and our dog. The training results are stunning - our Lulu learned a much better behavior and obeys our commands pretty well. When Kristen brought Lulu back home from the camp, we could see that our dog was in careful and loving hands, was treated and trained well. Corrine has changed our lives! Our sweet dog Bingo is becoming the best version of herself! Her recall is amazing, she can heel on command, she is not reactive to people or dogs anymore, and we can take her everywhere we go! We get compliments constantly when we are out training! I thought with so many reviews it would be impossible for a business to have 5 stars, but now I understand how and why! Working with Kristen was amazing. She was so thoughtful, responsive and did a wonderful job giving me back my german shepherd/malamute mix that I could finally take on walks. She set realistic expectations for us given his history and state of mind coming in, and I appreciate that she worked with him instead of just applying a protocol. You can tell she is an excellent trainer who creates the right experience from dog to dog. I also found a place to board my boy when I'm out of town, and I'm very much looking forward to his board and train "touch ups." If you have a reactive dog, this program (while pricey) is well worth it to equip you with the lifelong tools you can use to make both your lives better. Less
