Lovely place. Great food. Dog friendly πΎ(sausages available for them) Really friendly staff.
Great place for a coffee and a bite if you're local, and also for visitors owing to its proximity to bus and railway stations. Not your typical bus station cafe, it offers a vegan menu on request, consisting of a good selection of breakfast and brunch items.
Came for a soup and a sandwich. Both lovely but the soup (sweet potato and coconut) was simply amazing. Lovely service and a free sausage for the dog. Very highly recommended ππ»
Didn't have any food, but the coffee and service was spot on.
Absolutely love the coffee here and the service is friendly and welcoming. If you enjoy your coffee and are in Chorley itβs a must visit!
A fab little coffee shop with a great selection products, using as much local and home grown produce as possible. Always a warm welcome from everyone. Highly recommended
Great little dog friendy cafe.

We were in Chorley for a job interview and looked up coffee shop, this one came up with good reviews so we went. Iβve never walked out of a coffee shop so keen to move anywhere in my life. Thanks Fi!
Waitress was lovely. Really accommodated my needs as an autistic person when I was struggling to communicate verbally and I had to use written communication to take my order.
Cosy and homely. Lovely soup, cake and coffee.

Lovely coffee shop with friendly welcoming staff. My sister and I will be making this our new place to meet up with her baby. The cake, coffee and iced teas we had were all delicious. They also have some lovely looking things for sale. I bought a jar of honey, but I was so tempted to buy more!
Love supporting this Lovely place to get a coffee whilst waiting for my bus ! πΌ
I came on my own for a small breakfast after following them on Instagram for a while. I thought I would check it out. The atmosphere was so cosy and friendly it was wonderful. They really know the regulars, and it felt like a family interaction every time someone came in. The food was really good and affordable. I'll definitely come again.
Food was lovely. Friendly staff. Lovely place to meet colleagues and friends.
Cracking breakfast in Woodchats Coffee Shop in Chorley. Lovely service, nothing too much trouble, and excellent coffee ! π (no eggs by personal choice )
Wow. What can I say. What a beautiful little place to eat. Great service, lovely atmosphere and out of this world food. I had poached eggs on sourdough toast. Beautifully cooked. Thanks for making my day!
Great food and service. Made our dog feel very welcome, Caspar (the dog) appreciated the sausage!
The Central Perk of Chorley, with excellent food and drink choices. Located near to transport links (bus/train station). It's a good place to start and end your visit to Chorley. Dietary requirements catered for (3 page vegan menu). Freshly baked cakes and home made soups.
Our favourite coffee shop!! We come in most days and itβs always awesome
A lovely little cafe, friendly, not too expensive, home made food (with a separate vegan menu - soup and toastie were delicious) and good coffee :)
GO TO THIS CAFE!! Found this place by accident SO pleased we did. The veggie quiche was delish, the cake was the best ive tasted for a long time. Pretty china cups and teapots. Really reasonable price, fabulously friendly staff, good food selection. (and the owner was lovely too) we were 3 ladies for lunch. We will come back again soon.

I have heard fantastic thinks about Woodchats but I haven't ventured there before myself. The decor is lovely and modern. Its clean and the staff were lovely and friendly. This is my first experience eating out since lockdown so of course I felt a little apprehensive. The lovely lady dealing with us made us immediately feel at ease, she discussed our dietary requirements and what things they could do for us - which was quite a bit. We both opted for basil humous and olives which did not disappoint! It was delicious. I also ordered some gluten free scones to take home. I have previously had these delivered and these are incredible! I also took home a few other items. Woodchats also participate in the suspended coffee scheme which is brilliant. A nice easy way to give a kind gesture. Or a way for someone to get a coffee no questions asked when they need one. All in all a fantastic place and I will be returning. Highly recommended particularly to those with intolerances. Less

The best bus station cafe I have been to.friendly staff, informal, good choices, gifts and you can buy a hanging coffee for homeless people. A wonderful community oriented cafe. Thank you .
It's ok here. For a coffee.. Right by the. Bus station interchange reasonable prices etc it would. Be nice if the staff smiled at times

I visited the town with mates last week. The buses are awful as never on time but the lovely and friendly staff with good priced food and coffee made the wait easy. Nice little place for commuters like me. Will visit again when I visit Chorley.
Fantastic service even though I asked for a take away they did everything spectacularly! Really enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the service!

Lovely cosy cafe on Chorley Bus Station. Serving genuine freshly prepared delicious food. Pretty china crockery. Warm fruendly service. I love it
The scone I had with my coffee was delicious. A really lovely independent coffee shop with friendly owners :-)
Discovered this little gem today. Mismatched oak tables, antique cups & saucers, excellent atmosphere. Plus friendly, happy team. They deserve success.
Afternoon tea is fantastic here. Home made treats. Great friendly service. Will definitely visit again.
I go to this cafe at least twice a week. The staff are very friendly and the food and service brill. Feels like you are visiting friends.
Would definitely recommend woodchats coffee shop. I took my daughter who is a huge Harry Potter fan for a pre birthday surprise yesterday. We absolutely loved it, from all the little details. Our food was spot on and thought the price was good value for money. Will definitely be coming back with the rest of my family π
Wow what a fabulous Harry Potter afternoon tea, from the presentation to possibly the best lemon drizzle cake Iβve ever eaten. The butter beer was absolutely spot on (we have had it in Orlando and London Potter studios do we know our stuff) The staff are lovely and the coffe shop its self is spotless. We traveled 40 minuets to get to Woodchats and will definitely be coming again.
Should be more places like this loved it. Closes to early. Xx
Warm and friendly staff. Lovely homemade foods. Good coffee. And happy to see they help the homeless by providing free hot drinks π
Lovely cafe. They do a lot of gluten free items. They have soya milk. There gluten free scones are lovely. Had sweet potato and coconut soup there today and it was scrummy. Also had soya latte with pumpkin spice which was also scrummy. Good place to come . Fully recommend

Excellent service and staff
Fabulous and friendly coffee shop. Sells delicious homemade cakes and treats. Top coffee and a superb range of teas.
Good service lovely pot of tea
Delicious food, especially the sausage and cheese toasties. It has a special place in my heart because it was my late Mum's favourite Chorley cafe and the Staff were always so welcoming and friendly towards her.
Excellent cafe. Wonderful froendly staff.
Occasionally come here for a bacon butty before work and it's always been lovely. Staff are nice, food is good and the serving time is decent
Excellent. Love the idea of suspended coffee
Came for Harry Potter tea was lovely very cute ideas and tasty too!
Abysmal staff attitude - it was 'Market day', so very cramped and busy.
Good food
Good food pleasant
Great coffee and cakes. Also sells home made jams but will have to report on these later...
Lovely table service/food. Tea served in a china cup. Paid an extra Β£3 for 2 suspended coffees. Please do the same if you pop in.
Clean and cosy

Very nice
Excellent value for money. I'll go again next time I'm in Chorley.
Very nice and silent place there
What's not to like? Great staff who are always helpful and friendly. Everything is baked on site. I'm picky about how my tea is made and they get it perfect every time.
Nice atmosphere, very reasonable prices and a decent selection of food and drink. The homemade soup was particularly good!
OK place for a drink and a bite to eat.
OK for a brew while waiting for a Bus
Relaxing atmosphere and pleasant staff. Highly recommend this cafΓ©.

Great food and staff
Love this coffee shop, gorgeous food and always a warm welcome. Perfect place to sit with a hot choc and a good book. Delicious home made cookies and the gifts are a lovely and very tempting addition.
Always a warm welcome and service with a smile, upon every visit.
One of, if not the best coffee shop in town. Great selection of drinks & home made food. Absolutely baffled by an earlier 1* review because someone wanted one slice of toast when you sell them as two. Would this person go into Gregg's and ask for half a pasty or the top section of a vanilla slice? A petty and ridiculous downgraded mark and so not warranted.
I love it at Woodchats, great coffee, great food, exceptional cakes and great service. X
Told I could have one slice of toast that I'd be charged for 2 shame I ain't paying a pound for one slice when I can't eat 2 because I'm a bariatric patient so much for dietary requirements .....
Fantastic service and very friendly service, clean and tidy and scrabble egg on toast amazing, well done all staff, top coffee too
This is just the best coffee shop....gorgeous cakes, gorgeous owner, gorgeous place. 5 STARS!
We came today for afternoon tea and it was absolutely fantastic. They don't do an afternoon tea for children on the menu but they created one for my children and they loved it! Definitely will go back again. Food lovely and fresh! Very impressed! And fab value!
Absolutely gorgeous! Who would have thought a wonderful coffee shop like this existed on a bus station. Went here today by recommendation of the lovely ladies in Anise. The food here is just exceptional, true home cooking as it should be. New delights regularly added to the menu - my favourites are the cheese and olive scones, warm with butter. Always a warm welcome and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Gourmet food at very reasonable prices, to be savoured at leisure. A real treat!
My friend and i had a lovely lunch this afternoon at this family run cafe. Pot of tea with China cups and delicious freshly made sandwiches all at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be visiting again to sample your homemade cakes. :-D
