Great adventure, compared to the big boats you are right there at water level seeing everything up close. A good friend was playing music on the Oasis Saturday night for the sunset cruise so we signed up. $59 each for a two hour ride in Charlotte Harbor. No food or drinks are included but you can BYOB and they will keep your drinks cold, if needed. But warning, there was no ice on our cruise so better bring your own. The boat docked at the public dock at Laishley Park and you walk out from the parking area to the end of the dock where the boat is docked. It’s quite a walk and we picked the day that PG broke the heat record! Anyway we got to the boat and found a seat. The boat is comfortable with padded seats and a variety of seats on the side that have backs, seating in the middle with no backs and a few high top seats at the bar. We had a minor delay at the dock while some paperwork was taken care of, but that was no big deal, the music was playing and people having fun before we even left the dock. Nice boat ride and we got a great view of sunset and Sunseekers resort. Didn’t see any dolphins 😢. Because of the delay, they extended the ride and we got back to the dock about 9pm. The dock is dark and is strewn with coiled ropes, uneven spots and no handrails. I would recommend flashlights to be safe. If you have any balance problems, use a walker as it can get shaky. The experience in all was very nice and would be a great ride to take company on to show them the harbor. The live music really made the trip. But I would think for $59 a person, there should have been ice available, especially given the serious heat. Kingfisher Fleet does a 90 minute sunset cruise out of Fisherman’s Village for $39, but you can’t bring anything on board (they want to sell you drinks and snacks). They do not provide live music but It’s easier to board there, you can park much closer to the boat. They have ice. Less
