Took my wife and 5 kids today to the north location. First-the two gentleman who helped us at the register were wonderful. Helped save me a little money, and started our experience off better than anticipated. Safety Briefing was quick and efficient and the young man who did it, made it fun! He was loud and got us hyped. Gameplay-The arena was clean, cool and set up well. The guns worked as well as any nerf gun I’ve ever purchased. You can’t expect perfection. The game types were engaging and fun. The referees were as fair as they could possibly be. They were also engaged in the games. Gave us all the info. Helped when anybody’s gun jammed or wasn’t working. The kids running the games have to deal with a lot of children(some of which are not very nice, they don’t listen, or abide by the rules) on a regular basis. They handled it all, as well as they possibly could have. I have been to trampoline parks, go cart tracks, and various other locations ran by same age group of kids, and this was easily the best experience of them all. Nobody was hiding, nobody was on their cell phone, nobody was off talking to their friends, like I have seen at other places. We had a blast. Thank you guys for making my son’s birthday a great day. The time in the party room is to short. The girl in charge of our party was very rude when I asked how long we had left. She looked at me and rudely said "Your time in the party room is over". She could have said it a little nicer. We had to open his presenta in the lobby. I spent over $300 to host my sons party there. Drink options should be better. The game room was great and all the refs and people at the front coynter were great. Less

Came here with a group of 10 adults because I was told it was a fun time. My main concern is that rather than splitting up parties between the two rooms and having family/kids on one side and adults/teens in another they just lump everyone into one side. It is not enjoyable doing 25 vs 25 in such a small room, it is simply too many people and just chaos for the entire time we were playing. If staffing is an issue (even on a Saturday somehow) then don’t allow 50 people to make reservations at a time. With this being said my group did accept the situation and tried having fun to some success. Letting people know ahead of paying $250 for a group to play that it’s going to be lumped is information that you should give when scheduling. If I had know this information before purchasing I wouldn’t have payed. Less

Edit: I see here that the owner does not care whether or not people have fun. I understand that the arena can fit a certain amount of people but that does not mean it is FUN. The staff IS rude. They DO NOT communicate nicely with the paying customers. The fact that the owner dismisses every comment like this is ridiculous. If 20+ people are experiencing the same thing SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE. Needs a new owner or he should not be allowed to comment. Will never come back and will tell family and friends to never come back. Cannot believe how unprofessional the owner is in these reviews. Team has had an attitude every time we have been there. They all are rude for no reason. Seems like they rub off on each other and create a really bad team dynamic. Way too many people in there at once to have a good time. Dart Wars North exceeded my expectations for my son's birthday party! We were super impressed by the large, clean, well-kept facilities! We have never hosted a birthday party at any venue before so I was a bit nervous it would be stressful. It was the opposite! Everything about the process--from the effortless check in with the staff, the instructions, the easygoing atmosphere--was smooth and unintimidating! The play room was a God send for my toddler to have a fun "caged room" to play in safely, and the viewing vantage points, both on ground level and above from a loft area, meant that we parents could watch in comfort, without blaring noise! The party room service was just as effortless after the arena battle time, as well! The attendant was capable, efficient, kind, and moved the guests through the food and gifts with excellence! We are so glad that we chose this Dart Wars for our son's birthday party! Y'all impressed us more than I could've hoped for! Less

It was pretty fun, but it was limited due to the 50ish people in the small arena playing. It felt like Dart Wars should limit or at lower the amount of people in the play area. There was also a referee with short maroon/red purple hair who was very aggressive and rude. I know it is hard to referee that many people but she wasn’t open to friendly feedback and would get up in your face and yell. This made the play less fun. The other bummer was that it felt a little bit pay to win, due to the fact that you could pay more money for better guns. In our game this was 5 people on the other team who payed the money and got the full auto gun. This made it challenging to win, and when one of my friends requested to try to balance the teams the purple hair ref refused, thankfully there was a second ref who was kind and considerate. The play was fun but beyond that it wasn’t great. Less

We usually have a good time here but if you have smaller kids be aware that adults are allowed to enter the gaming area with their own automatic machine gun like weapons and mow your kid down while your kid has a weapon with a couple of shots. Even if you rent your kid the machine gun, the rented machine guns can jam and are unwieldy for a smaller kid. This was a first. This time our kids just didn’t have fun. The obscene inequality in skill makes it really lame for a kid depending on the group. It’s the luck of the draw. We’ve always had a good time before but this time was just not good. Not the owners fault…just trying to be realistic for parents who think their kid will be only playing other kids. It’s in the website but want to make it clear that the other adults playing might ruin it and the owners can’t control that as the adults paid too. So just know you might pay $18 for an hour of play time and your kid sits out most of it because a ridiculous 45 year old wants to shoot your 8 yr old on rapid fire with the gun that he/she brought from home. I get that mixed play is advertised so not mad at the owners but know your kid isn’t just out there with other kids. But sometimes it is just an amazing kid fest and there are adults who understand it’s a game and act accordingly…but sometimes not. We’ll be back and hope for more kid friendly adult players next time. Less

Overall experience was ok. Pros: - pizza from Papas next door was tasty. - the sweet blonde girl that helped with the actual party in the room. - the kids had lots of fun. -Birthday party was overall successful. Cons- -had to reschedule because they were closed on original booking even though invitations were already handed out to the classroom. This caused many families to get confused over event times. -we were shoved to the side of the entrance room for 25 minutes before we were briefed for guns without anyone really explaining what we were doing. - a whole bunch of teens managing the place. Can I talk to an adult please? - after we were briefed in the gun room, which eventually started 30-40 minutes after our check in time at 3, the game was finally started. -You don’t actually rent the party room now. You get the room at the end, for only 30 minutes. You have 30 minutes to cut and serve and let 9 year olds inhale pizza and cake. Good luck. 🫡 -absolutely not enough seating for all adults trying to sit now because we don’t have a room. Everyone is left standing awkwardly in the already busy corridor and hallways of the game rooms, again, with no explanation of what we were doing. - while I was trying to talk to someone, I did pull up the email for the reservation to try to get clarity, after the payment, the email sent does state all the things I’ve complained about - it still feels like I got scammed and does not negate there is an issue about above mentioned. Overall, I paid right at $400 ($390ish- and had 5 “upgrades” for guns and 4xpizzas. ) I felt the whole experience was messy and lazy. - Guns jammed more than I’d like, but that stuff happens. -I was sent an email to write this review or I wouldn’t have wrote about my experience. As I went to write a review, I clicked through the reviews and saw a very similar experiences. The owner just stating seems to be defensive and will comment back, “well it was in the email! We told you!” Or “this is a you problem 🤷” attitude isn’t my favorite. ——————————— Edit to reply to owner- maybe a phone call to help coordinate when people book, and make sure they know clauses and confirm reservations. This I think would eliminate any confusion - yes, I rescheduled without complaint. Still does not negate that invitations were already sent and issues were had. That’s the point of the review that was asked for. I was truthful in my experience. We didn’t know about the upstairs until 15 minutes before we got the room. (And still wasn’t told, a mom ventured up there.) As mentioned before, we weren’t told anything and were shuffled from the front enterance room, to the back. Thats the information that the workers should need to explain to the party. Which I stated above, not much was explained. It seems like communication is missing in many parts.- like this Less

The owner of this business obviously does not care about the customers experience. A good and ethical business owner would investigate why the customer is dissatisfied not try and discredit their feelings. Broken equipment is going to happen this is a fact. This is not the issue. Allowing grown adults to intentionally hit kids in the neck and face to the point of bruising is the issue. You cannot say that the experience a party has is not accurate. Will never go here and will ask all those people thinking of going to rethink that decision. Less

We went there for my daughters 8th bday party. It was completely ruined by grown adults targeting the little kids and shooting the multiple times in the neck and face while they were trying to fix broken guns, reload, ect. We ended up having half the kids at our party leave crying. They should have arenas for experienced players and 1 for beginners. My daughter had the worst time with her gun, it broke many times and didn't want to fire. I will never spend that kind of money again there when half their guns are broken. Refs sucked and did not call the adults who were bullying the little kids out even when they got hit. Terrible experience! If I could give 0 stars I would have. And we did let someone know we were unhappy and they didn't care! Less

Overall an okay experience. My son and I go about once or twice a month, for the past year during the cooler months, as the summer months are miserable in the arena as they don’t have adequate air conditioning in the building. As far as a review of a birthday party: it was total anarchy of having a kids birthday party, but was handled adequately. Expectations of timeline are clearly conveyed before purchase, and are reinforced via email days before the party. I think a grown adult managing the building would be a dramatic improvement. I say that, as there were about 40-50 players in the half basketball sized playing arena, and the unused arena was opened only because another kids party had reserved a private arena. There does not appear to be a tripwire for total player count on an arena to open the open side, which makes game play way less fun when it is packed. Over the year long time of going here, the cleanliness of the building, and quantity of functioning nerf guns have gone downhill. Usually you can find large hairballs in corners, and the room gets the gym locker room stink when it warms up. The nerf guns in use usually are beyond their life due to the extensive use for hours a day, 5 days a week. Overall it is an OK experience, but this place is definitely trying to take in the money while they can, and not put much back into the experience you’ll pay for. Less

We did an 8 year old's birthday part here and they were great. We got the SHARED ARENA PARTY WITH ROOM. Birthday kid gets a single level upgrade to an "advanced" nerf gun. All the other guests get a basic nerf gun unless paid to upgrade ($8 for Advanced, $12 for Premium). The pizza was from the place next door, Papa's Restaurant North, and was ok. One of our pepperoni pizzas was quite burned and some of the kids wouldn't eat it. The staff at Dart Wars was amazing and kept everything on schedule. The 2 dedicated party hosts were really great and, again, kept everything on schedule and facilitated the party room events. We would definitely plan another party here. Less

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I spent $130 for maybe 2 minutes of actually shooting. The remaining hour was fighting jammed guns, trading them out, and shooting blanks, dealing with crying kids because they were frustrated and dealing with the same thing. They had no system in place for jammed or broken guns during wars and you are still out if hit while dealing with it. I went through 3 guns and all were broken. I would try shaking them, banging them, removing clip and checking for jammed balls, down grading guns to get a less technical one and no matter what I did the gun would still not work after 2 shots. Great idea but horrible quality and execution. My recommendation would be to have people on the floor to help repair and unjam guns or replace them so that you’re not losing all your battle time or getting hit dealing with it. Less

Dart Wars was so wonderful. The staff made all the arrangement in the party room and the arena was excellent. All the guns worked great and the refs were fair and fun! Unfortunately we did get pizza from the restaurant next door arranged by the Dart Wars staff for my son’s birthday party. The pizza wasn’t great and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes after our allotted time in the party room because we had yet received our full pizza order. It’s great that Dart Wars has partnered with the pizza restaurant next door, unfortunate that their quality of services does not match the service of Dart Wars. However, it’s a must when you want to have fun. We love Dart Wars and will always be a huge supporter! Less

One star off for all the young gentlemen at the front desk. We had a great experience at an old place on Barnes road, so booking this newer facility was a no brainer for us as ots much closer. The folks at this new place - No eye contact with people walking in, even us the party booker, not organized, no customer service skills, zero enthusiasm to communicate, didn't ask the name of the birthday boy and just pointed to the cart to set up our stuff (turned out to be for a different party), checked our party in a few minutes late and started briefing a few minutes late. Even our guests were commenting that the staff at the front desk is just not helpful at all. Perhaps more training and a couple of cameras would fix the issue. I don't think we will be booking here again. (The hosts in the party room were helpful though, and the facilities are great - clean and comfortable, it's just folks at the front desk seem to lack knowledge & simple people skills) Less

Went for a kid's birthday party. Secretly lamented on wanting to participate, along with other dads. Was "coerced" into joining in the frey by another, braver, dad. The most fun I've had in ages, and was dripping with gobs of sweat per the workout of PWNING THE KIDDOS WITH MY PEA-SHOOTER due to my superior tactics and dedication. EAT FOAM TIMMY! It's organized elimination style managed by referees, and a lot more fun that "I GOT YOU"/"NO YOU DIDN'T" at home Nerf. They upcharge for bigger and better guns, but I'm told you can bring your own (Rival) style gun. Being a proud Rival owner, I'm going in fully loaded next time.... TIMMY IS GOING DOWN! Now to just find another excuse to go and behave like a kid again. Less

Growing up, one of my favorite places to have a good time was dart warz. But because of covid, dart warz closed forever! I recently discovered this new location under new management, and I've got to say, the magic never left! All the employees are fantastic, the vibe is super positive, and I had a great time! I highly recommend dart wars to any parent who's looking for an affordable way to have a fun packed day! Fun time. Not well managed. It is run by teenagers. They need more refs watching. I play paintball at big games. This is a very small scermizh field. Maybe 50x50 or 75x50. Several times, my 6 year old got shot point blank by several players with full auto guns. I shot them out, and they still played on. After a few rounds like that. It's time for Dad payback.... face shots only on these guys. With a 15 round pump. I play big paintball games hundreds if not thousands, playing at the same time.. and Dad plays pump. I was going for faces. The game starts. Son, stay right be hind me. He was like, ok. To the center we got. Grab both shields and out. OK, we are going to post up right over here in the side corner. With full view of their team. Sit back and a few seconds later. Bam in the face of 1 gun goes I. The air. The kids are about 14. One of the 5 that are over shooting. OK, 1 of 5 are out now. About 5 seconds after the first one leaves here come #2 guy about 15 to 16. Full auto. We have shields. He came so fast shooting he for got one miner detail. Ammo.... he ran out and was still trying to shoot. OK. Blame headshot. #2out 3 more to go.time to move. Son, stay with me. Ok.we move up right next to their front bunker. See number 3 and 4 ones in the corner and the others right on the other side. Guy, behind me, stands up. He's like Big Brother, about 17 or 18. He doesn't see me or my son. Son says to me that the guy dad. So I told my son. When he leans over again, hit him in the bottom of the hit chin. Few seconds and he pops back out. Bame son scores.. perfect shot. Dead center of his chin. #3 out. I quickly reloaded my sons gun. We still have shields. We moved to the center. I know we're my next victim and wear. Still haven't seen me last guy looking around nothing. So I popped up base face shot on number 4. You're out. Now, I need to find my last guy. Mover to the back side and across from where we started. Found my guy. He is in the dead center. Spraying a praying with 2 guns. And his sister, I shout out. That we number 1. Was reloading for him. So I walked over to a ref. And go hay ref watch this. Head shot bother. Sister grabs the guns and turns to shoot me. My second shout in the cheek. Bout out, and call it. Tun and number 2 are back in. Son shoots him. Priceless!!!!! Ref sees the shot you're out. Then the ref see no wrist bans on them. Checks them all. None. Goodbye, guys. Less

I'm giving 3 stars because the kids had a lot of fun for my sons birthday party but, the confirmation email had hardly any information- No phone number, no address. I thought, based on what I saw when I booked the party online, that the timeframe was 1hr and 30 mins. When we got there, the kids didn't get in the arena until 30 mins after the time I had thought, the game went on longer so I had to go ask the young man behind the counter how much longer the party would be so I could then text parents who dropped their kids off to let them know what time they should be there vs the time I had originally told them. I'm not complaining about more play time, just that I was misinformed. I am a planner so this made me VERY anxious. On top of that, they charge you an extra 1% to run your credit card so, bring cash if that matters to you. The 1% adds about $25. Less

Excellent place to have a birthday and probably my favorite birthday party place in town!! The game is fun for all ages (adults as well as kids), clean, organized and there are plenty of viewing areas so everyone feels part of the fun! The party helpers had everything set up by the time the kids were done playing and headed to the party room and that was a huge relief for me! My son had the BEST birthday experience!!! Thank you!! If you want a free for all where the referees don't enforce the rules that are in the safety brief, then this is the place for you. We had a birthday party ruined by players, not in our group, who did not follow rules and referees who did nothing about it. Even after multiple times of telling the referees of the issues. No one at the facility could do anything about it. The owner was called, and they flat out called me a lair because they did not see the incident on the video. The employees at the location had called the owner and told him something completely different from what I was told by them at the time of the incident. If I could give zero stars, I would. The whole family enjoyed this Nerf Battle Arena, parents and kids were exhausted after all of the action packed rounds. It’s a new and clean establishment that would be phenomenal for birthday party experiences for all ages, especially for those that like using nerf blasters and having fun with their friends!! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and teamed up harmoniously. I absolutely love that it is Veteran-Owned as well:) Thanks for making it one of our best Funday Sundays here in the Springs!! Less

Really awesome place to throw a birthday - expensive, but my son had a blast. He is 6 years old, and I think it would be better if they had less people in the arenas each round (there was easily 40 people each time) and similar age groups rather than 6 year olds with teenagers and adults because the kids can’t play as long because they’re immediately lit up by the older people and out….but if they did it by similar age group I think it would be a 5 star easily.
