Brilliant experience!!!! My son (11) and I have been 4 times over the summer, zipping 3 times and the tree trekking. Staff are great, super informative and go through the safety briefing quickly but effectively, then you’re off. Yes it’s scary but also super safe. We even took a group of lads for a birthday party, some very nervous faces at the start and some super excited faces by the end. Definitely worth having a go. Less

One of the best adventure experiences ever. The staff are incredibly skilled and professional - the zip lining is literally breath-takingly beautiful - but gentle enough that my almost 80 year old mum was able to do it - the tree trekking is a real challenge both physically and mentally - cannot recommend Oakfire enough for anyone! Wow,,,We had the best day yesterday doing zip line (4 of them ) (myself & 11 years old daughter) then my other daughter 8 years old did the tree trekking. We all loved every second and the staff was so so pleasant and helpful, charged with lots of patience especially for the younger scary ones. Massive thanks to D ( Mr. D 😂😂) He was so so clear explaining everything properly and we all felt very safe. The views were stunning above the river and beautiful autumn colours forest. Have been a couple of times now and couldn't recommend enough! The tree trekking is our favourite 🌳 The place is really well managed and the staff are also brilliant craic and get a good laugh going. Less

We went to Oakfire last week. Unfortunately we only had time to do the Zipline, but it was awesome. Our instructor (Richard - I think), was really sound, informative and good craic. The ziplines were awesome. We had been before and done both the tree climbing and the zip line. We liked it so much we brought some family visiting from overseas this time. It’s also really handy if you’re coming from either Derry or Belfast - It’s just outside Derry and right off the main road. I’d a hundred percent recommend it for a bit of a different day out. Less
