My daughter and I have been taking lessons for almost 3 years with Amy and Katie Lynn. Both instructors are amazing, caring, interested and supportive. I have been at other programs and the attention to detail and effort at teaching equitation skills is unmatched. If you really want to learn how to ride with the overall health and safety for the horse and rider then you’ve found the right program.

I took lessons from Amy after a 20 yr hiatus from riding. She is an amazingly knowledgeable, empathetic, and skilled teacher. Her lessons were creative and spot on in supporting me to grow in skill and confidence as a rider. 10/10 recommend Summit!

Highly recommend! I have been in training with Amy and team for 2 years on my own horses and occasionally on her lesson horses. This program is both structured (clear goals, techniques, and learning challenges) and flexible (adjustments to address personal challenges and even my emotional state). I have become a MUCH BETTER rider with Amy’s help and attention. Could not have had the skill to join the Bozeman Saddleites without the support of Summit Horsemanship!

When I was in search of horse lessons for my daughter I had no idea how much she would learn about being confident and self reliant. Amy has helped my daughter learn skills that she will carry with her throughout her life. My daughter has always been a lover of animals but I believe she now has a deeper understanding of what ownership of animals takes. It’s not always easy, but you must do the right thing to keep you and your animals safe and healthy. I cannot thank Amy enough for helping my daughter grow as a person and make meaningful connections with horses and other horse crazy girls. The girls are encouraged to help and support each-other and learn from each other. Our family will forever be grateful for the kindness, support, friendship and leadership you have shown to our family.

Amy and Katie Lynn are truly wonderful. I grew up with horses and when my daughter decided to ride I brought her to Summit Horsemanship and it has been truly wonderful.
