She provides you with all the materials you need in order to learn theory and practical training with efficacy. You will love this gem of a studio! I came in for my brows, and was naturally a little nervous about the process. Maritza, the owner of the studio, personally performed the procedure on me. I cannot say enough good things about her as a professional, and a person! She is warm, kind, and very caring. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for, and we spent time mapping the brow design to my liking and she was happy to answer all of my questions. I felt heard by her and never felt rushed. I knew I was in good hands, because Maritza is a permanent makeup instructor with her own school, and she has over 12 years of working experience! Also, she is very knowledgeable about skincare and loves to continue her education. The spa is beautiful, relaxing, and very clean. There is a fountain and soft music playing which helped me relax during the entire process. She really helped make it very easy and seamless, it was very tolerable because she kept communicating with me throughout and made sure I was comfortable. The procedure was very sanitary and she made sure to share that, showing me the sterilized equipment, wiping down her latex gloves before, and properly disposing of the equipment after the procedure. I learned that there are so many other permanent makeup services and body contouring and enhancing services this studio offers! I personally came in for a body contouring treatment here as well. I’ve been looking for a school that will accommodate my weekdays schedule because I can’t do it on a weekend. And I’m so glad that I was able to inquire in this beautiful school. Allen was very helpful and accommodating. He is so friendly and gives you some tips on where to go to get the BBP certification as well as to register as a PMU practitioner. Also, I’m so great full to meet Maritza and learn microblading from her. She is very knowledgeable on the things that she is teaching. She is kind and a humble person as well. Having her as my mentor is one of the best decisions that I ever made in my life. She guided me through my PMU journey. She taught me the different pillar that will help me along the way. I enjoy my time with her. She encourages me every time I felt like my work in the practice skin is not enough and that I made a mistake. I’ve finished my 3 days online and 3 days in person course on November 19, 2023. I’ve been meaning to write my review about my experience with the academy but because of my busy schedule, working as a full time nurse. It took me a while to finally have the chance to do it. So here it goes… I’ve been a nurse for a while now but for some reason, there’s something that I’ve been yearning to do besides nursing. So I’ve decided to take the microblading course, mainly because I’m very passionate about beauty enhancement. I have to say that , God answered my prayers when I was directed to Fox Academy. I’ve looked and searched for the right place to get the training I need. Maritza, the owner and instructor is very knowledgeable. Her cognizance of skin anatomy is medical grade in my opinion. She has different techniques and applications that she teaches of which made a lot of sense to me. Her expertise and mastery of the subjects are impeccable. A true mentor. One thing I really like about her is that she’s very genuine, humble, encouraging, supportive, and understanding. She aims for her students to achieve success not failure. And if I were to continue my journey in this industry that will require more training, I will definitely without a doubt go back to Fox Academy. The facility is fully equipped and aesthetically pleasing to everyone’s vision. Her staffs are very helpful and friendly.
