First, I wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars.I had an injury while working in the yard three months ago that left me with persistent discomfort and stiffness in my right knee area. It wasn't severe enough to warrant a visit to the doctor or hospital, but it was a continuous, nagging problem. After dealing with it for three months and hoping it would go away, my wife recommended I go to Align Life Chiropractic Services and have Dr. Ethridge look at it. I was skeptical, thinking there was nothing he could do about what felt like a muscle sprain.Despite this, I decide to see him for some insight as to what the problem might be, and a recommend path forward. Dr. Ethridge took the time to listen actively to my account of my symptoms. In just three minutes, he implemented an adjustment that effectively eliminated the problem! The fact that I endured a discomfort for three months, only for him to resolve it in three minutes, is beyond belief! It is now a day later, and I am still truly amazed at the results.I highly recommend Dr. Ethridge and Align Life Chiropractic Services. He is amazing!

Dr. Ethridge is very knowledgeable and explains everything in terms I can easily understand. I started seeing him a couple years ago for my upper back pain.He has helped me so much .I do come frequently for maintenance. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating with scheduling appts . I have recommended them to many friends.

I was around 40 years old and I was loading limbs into the back of my pickup to burn on the other side of the property. Being I worked at SRS I knew to keep the load close to my body all the proper lifting techniques etc. But I made the mistake of leaning forward and lifting the big heavy limb just a little further into my truck when I felt just a minor pull in my back. For the next 3 years, I lived with this pain like a toothache. I kept thinking it would go away and it slowly would get better but every time I would do anything requiring me to be on my knees like roofing or as simple as changing out the pressure switch on a well or just an easy receptacle change out, I would start the pain over again that would last for weeks sometimes months. Then while at work at SRS one day a friend of about 25 years told me of his mom’s story of being a nurse and hurting her back and retiring early because of this. But after a few years of not being able to do anything, she enjoyed hearing about this traction-type machine they were using on astronauts when they returned from outer space that helped their spine decompress. The friend’s mom had tried this procedure at a local Chiropractor in Columbia S.C. and it had worked so well that she went from being on a walker to volunteering back at the hospital she had worked at several days a week. Being this was not a script from someone trying to sway someone to sell me and being I was in pain I checked into if anyone local had this type of equipment.I tried a few other Chiropractors around Aiken that didn’t have the same equipment that did give me some minor relief. This only kept me searching for this new type of technology.That is when my research led me to Dr. Christopher Etheridge. On my first visit, I was shocked at the detail of the imaging he did and the amount of time he spent explaining every detail of what I had going on in my specific body that was causing the pain and then setting a specific plan just for my body. This was different from anywhere else I had been. After about three visits I felt like a new man with no pain. I was slow to go back to any heavy type of work at first. But not being in pain it was not long before I helped a friend with a roof, we worked all day and I expected pain the next day but I had none. I worked on things that had me twisted around and still no pain. Well needless to say not only did I find someone that got me out of pain but I will never think of Chiropractors the same. I also regretted not finding him sooner. I can go in and feel like I have a needle in my neck and walk out in no pain. I have sent many friends that were suffering to him that he has helped. If you had back surgery it is probably too late for Chiropractic care and he will tell you that, but if you are in pain and have not gone under the knife this could be a game changer for you like it has been for me. I think if I had not gone, I may have ended up under a knife. It’s not good to leave your spine pinching nerves for any amount of time(you know it is doing damage). They can’t do miracles but if you have been in pain as long as I was then you will think it’s a miracle the amount of relief, they can help you achieve. My advice if you have not been under the knife give him a try and you will know where you truly stand and not just from some doctor that makes a living doing back surgery! I am not against back surgery if you need it but wonder how many could avoid it if they got to a doctor like Dr. Etheridge soon enough. Great staff and service! I pray God blesses this office not only for the people they have helped stay out of pain but also for the people they will continue to help. I know this is long but you can't say enough about these guys.

Dr. Ethridge and his staff are amazing! Dr. Ethridge was recommended by a dear friend of ours. I came to him with a lower lumber issue which was affecting my back, hips and leg. The relief I have now is beyond what I expected! I highly recommend Dr. Ethridge and his wonderful Team!
