We were scheduled about 2 weeks later and in the meantime the area was wrapped to prevent further damage. It took about a week to finish the project and Scott was in touch with me every step and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Pictures were taken with both before and after ( which he labeled for me so I knew exactly where and what was done). The whole process was smooth. Jordan came to estimate our roof repair and he exceeded our exceptions by providing an in-depth inspection and a superbly detailed estimate with (60+ pictures and videos) of the entire roof system. While we were told repairs would likely occur earlier, they did arrive on their target date provided. They showed up on time, and completed the work. After a huge storm, I could hear a vent squeaking, they came out and glued it down for not cost. Repairs were made to critical areas of the house where intrusion occurred. We needed a leak fixed for our home built in the 80’s. There were so many layers of roof from the previous owners, and the rest of the roof was due for replacement; we also had solar panels which complicated the process. What a great job Jordan from Roof Recovery did on my roof. He came out to see that some roof maintenance was required and provided an initial quote. After working with me, we were able to come to a firm quote, though, due to how busy the season is, he estimated 15-20 days before they can do the work. After numerous updates, he was able to lock me for someone to come out in 3 days. Alex was 😎 awesome! Straight forward, kind, honest. So was the company. He drove to Vacaville to look over two roofs, and sent estimate in timely manner. The price was comparable to two other estimates. Out of three estimates I had on my desk for couple weeks. Alex was the only estimater to phone, and check up on me, and our needs. We are relieved we went thru this company that tore off all the old 1930 plywood, and old roofing material on home & garage than installing new within a week. We live on a busy street in a 1930 duplex with detached garage in Vacaville.The company used a huge conveyor truck to lift the plywood & roofing material on the roof. The roofers did a fantastic job, and yes I tipped them-roof looks good-no leaks this past winter. They worked in the heat, and on their break not much shade on our property. They deserved it. I was very impressed by Roof Recovery’s customer service and quality of work. They were responsive when other companies were not, gave me a very competitive estimate and provided photos to help explain the repair work needed on my roof, they followed up with a reminder when it was time to do the work (there was a delay from the time of the estimate to when the work was scheduled due to many homeowners with storm damage), they called me when they were on their way, and they did an excellent job and cleaned up afterward. Where do I begin? the company came out to complete some roofing and dry rot repairs on a house we had just purchased. We shared with them the roofing and dry rot inspection, as well as confirmed they would be able to fix a hole in the house caused by Gutter issues. They came out promptly, and then had to come out again and again due to poorly completed work. They did respond fast initially, however a year later when we found a separate hole they tried to cover up, but not tell us about stopped communicating with us. Highly recommend to not use this company, as they have poor service and will not communicate other issues they find. Less

I had a leak where my heating unit's vent pipe goes through the roof. Adam came out and inspected the roof and confirmed that it just needed caulking. He said he would try to schedule the job when a crew was in the area to keep the cost down. He called me back and told me he couldn't find any other jobs in my area and that it would cost $250. I told him that I was willing to pay that price to have someone else do it because I didn't want to get on my second story roof. He sent a contract to me and I signed it. Nobody showed up on the day they were supposed to make the repair so I called them back the next day. Adam apologized and scheduled me for the next day. He came out and made the repair the next day. I met him when he came down from the roof and he showed me pictures of the repair and then told me there would be no charge. I was shocked and very appreciative. That has never happened before. I promised him I would give him a good review so here it is. Less

I needed some shingle repair work done due to a pretty bad wind storm. I had 3 contractors come out to take a look at the job, they all acted intrested, but never gave me a quote. Apparently it wasn't worth their time. Then Alex with roof recovery showed up. He acted very interested even in this small repair job. So he furnished me with a quote pretty quickly. Lead time was probably my only complaint. It was around 4-5 weeks. But thats understandable seeing how good this crew was.Im sure they have a lot of jobs lined up.. They showed up, got right to work, replaced a big chunk of the shingles in the damaged area, patched any existing shingles that were damaged. He replaced some rotten facia and it came out very nice. Andrew came out and provided an estimate that was reasonable and he was very professional. High praises to Andrew who helped with quoting and being my main line of communication for almost everything throughout the project. While others only called once and didn’t leave a voicemail or any details whatsoever since I couldn’t pick up the call while I was working, Andrew took extra care into making sure I was aware of everything going on. Your other PM/coordinators need to be aware that some of us work and can’t always exclusively pick up their calls. There are a few ways to experience this company. The bidding process. The work. The feedback. The bidding process was smooth and I went with them because of the great with reviews. Their bids felt a little high but I figured it’s worth it. They gave me good financing as well. No payment first 18 months. 8.99% apr. The work was OK. Nothing special. I called them back multiple times to fix certain details on the jobs. 1) Flashing issues and funky finishes 2) poor carpentry and using silicone on the wood making it impossible to paint 3)nail in the middle of the roof 4)issue with ridge shingles centering and spacing 5)poorly installed gutter. Torn shingle during install. 6)One of the houses took two weeks to roof. The inspector kept calling them back. Roof Recovery did not communicate any of this with me I found out from the tenants living at the place. 7) They did not secure a cable back onto the facia. So it was rubbing on the roof of my studio. At first they have always sent someone out immediately to address the issues, but they never followed up after they tore the shingles putting in the gutters. Issues keep happening. And I keep having to be the person pointing it out. Would you pay them $30,000? Less

This is a follow up to my review of 2 years ago: Alex is amazing, and here is why. A leak was observed yesterday in one of the rooms. Alex was quick to go there and diagnose the problem. It turned out that the leak was coming from the cracks in the AC conduits on the roof. The AC was replaced six months ago at a high cost, but obviously the AC contractor did a terrible job with it. Anyway, Alex put caulking on the cracks in the AC conduits even though it was not due to the work that was done by Roof Recovery. I highly recommend Roof Recovery and specially Alex to anyone needing roof work. Tow years ago: The atmospheric river in the middle of October created massive leaks in my commercial building in Roseville. All the roofing companies were suddenly fully booked up. However when I called Roof Recovery, they said they would help me. Next day, Alex showed up and visited the site and inspected the roof carefully. He showed me the problem areas and made it clear that the roof had to be replaced. As part of the roof replacement contract, the crew of Roof Recovery did a temporary roof patch until they could get the permit from the City and replace the roof. A couple of times after that, minor leaks showed up but Alex immediately responded to each call and brought the crew the same day to fix the issues. I am truly impressed by how responsive and professional Roof Recovery is. I am very thankful to Alex. Less
