My son, aged 7, was having HUGE meltdowns at school. Giant temper tantrums where he was completely unreachable. No reasoning, coaxing, bribing or anything would make a difference. We were at our wit's end to figure out how to overcome these temper tantrums. I didn't want to subject him to testing for ADHD and have him medicated. Then his teacher saw a flyer for a talk that Dr. Speed was giving about how upper cervical chiropractic can help with symptoms of ADHD and sensory processing. We both went to the presentation and it was as if he was talking about my son exactly. Almost every symptom clicked. I decided to have my son checked out. The first set of xrays Dr. Speed took even I could see there was something very wrong. His C1 and C2 looked like a Pac-Man. He was uncomfortable and stuck in a constant state of fight or flight due to the strain on his brain stem but we never knew! He's been seeing Dr. Speed for about 2 months now. He went back to school after Christmas break and he has not had a single meltdown! Dr. Speed also recommended a book on sensory processing differences and that has also helped tremendously with dealing with stress triggers for my son. My little boy is happy again! He's excited to go to school every day now. Things that used to make him lose his mind in a meltdown will roll off him now. Absolutely amazing! Dr. Speed has changed his life! Dr. Speed put him at ease right from the first moment, speaking with him and playing games with him. He built trust before he ever even tried to examine him. He and Alexis always greet all of us by name, even my younger son who comes along to appointments. They answer all my son's many questions. They are interested in his week and what he's doing at school. He loves going there even though it's a 1.5 hour drive each way for us. I would recommend Dr. Speed to any parent of a child struggling to get through the day. He's made a huge difference in our lives. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
