The best carne asada I've ever had in years. This is a must if you love Mexican cuisine

Service was quick. Never served food so fast!

Food was delicious. Service was mediocre

Food was okay. Sat for over 30 minutes with no drink refills, no chips and salsa, and no food. Our waiter didn’t check on us for over 45 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes we finally got food and it was all messed up. Then we got “comped” and they gave us $15 off a $100 order and the guy ADDED TO THE TIP ON THE CARD! Will not go back.

Then requested to order a daiquiri and the waitress rolled her eyes like it was a bother to her. She didn't offer water napkins or anything when we were brought chips and salsa. She was very rude and short with us no personality at all. She definitely should not be in that line of work. We were out celebrating for the night and she kept coming over asking us if we were ready for the check even after we told her we were not ready for it. It was like she wanted us gone but the crowd had died down and we were spending money. Then she wouldn't show us the bill and snatched my husband's card out of his hand. I had to holler and ask to see our bill. Again more eye rolls. Then she brought our card back with receipt and rudely said "you know this bill does not include tip right" "you add tip here now" and pointed to the tip line. Long day. We needed a quick dinner on way home and six year old wanted Mexican. We just took a chance since this was closest place to I-71. Omg. We made the right choice. Great salsa and chips to start things off. But then add two very scrumptious entrees and we were happy for the rest of the ride home. If it wasn’t 2 hours away we’d make it a part of our consistent rotation.

Soooo goooood. Colorfully themed and delicious food. The usual suspect drinks, some with a twist. Who knew sangria + margarita = 🤯

That place was the bomb

Food is OK. Be forewarned that they replace the bill with a higher amount if you choose to pay with a debit card. They don’t tell you this… just replace the bill after bringing your card back to the table. Would suggest they are more transparent… seemed a bit shady.

We ate 4 meals, appetizer and drinks and everything was good with large portions. The Molcajete and carnitas were some of the best we have ever had. This is right down the road from Great Wolf Lodge, prices were lower than expected especially with the way everything is now.

We are on vacation from out of town for my daughter's 5th birthday just googled restaurants close and pick this restaurant due to the google reviews and they did not disappoint!! The menu is huge and it was hard to decide what to get. We got the trio enchiladas, carne asada, Chile rellenos, and kids meals. It was so freakin good. Love this place, they do a great job overall. Minor mix-up but they try and deliver a great personality and quality food. Seafood is well cooked, I'm usually very particular about my seafood and will eat several dishes from here. Overall great place to socialize and eat 👍🍺🎊

Wow! This place was so good! Food was fantastic, staff was friendly, atmosphere was fun. Definitely a cut above the typical Mexican restaurant feel, that is so common across the Midwest. The elotes street corn was excellent!! But also very unexpectedly tangy -- actually too tangy for my taste buds unfortunately, I couldn't finish it although I really wanted to!

Amazing internal decoration, super polite staff, orders came out quickly. Food tasted great. And my daughter's request for no cheese with her chicken enchiladas was accommodated.

This was our first time here and it was awesome. This is not your typical strip mall Mexican restaurant. Interesting and good food options, a bunch of drink options (and the drinks are fun and have flare). We will be back.

We visited during our stay at Great Wolf. We had a very enjoyable lunch, the drinks were good and everyone was pleased with their order, we would definitely go back!

We have been there couple of time. Today service was really bad, the waiter did not have time to listen also. Then some one else came to take the order.

I ate at other El Rancho Nuevo restaurants before and loved them but this one was terrible. The meat for my fajita was huge and tough and dry. My margarita was wrong. My friend had a huge chicken bone in her food also. Will not be going back there again.
