This past winter, as a third year nursing student, I was in need of an internship to start expanding my knowledge of the career. Star Multi Care Services opened up their doors for me and gave me an absolutely amazing experience. In just 6 weeks, the company exposed me to the world of home care, flooded me with tips and tricks to be successful in my future career, and integrated me into their positive and welcoming daily office life. I could write something about every employee I had the pleasure of working with but to name a few: Lauren Scalcione, serving as my "boss" for this internship, went above and beyond to ensure that I wasn't just working, but I was learning and gaining useful skills along the way. Leanne, another employee in the office, exposed me to critical nursing skills in the field, as well as in the office. Steve Sternbach, the CEO of Star Multi Care Services, is an incredible person to work for and should be commended for the amazing office culture he created. I am so grateful for the experience that Star has given me, and I couldn't recommend them enough.
