Instead, they continued to adjust the ETA for 45, 22, and 20 minutes. When they finally arrived, I called to inform them that they’d need gate code access before coming into my residence and that they needed to call me to get in. They still didn’t call for access into the gate and took it upon themselves to leave and accept another request. They have terrible communication skills. All in all, I waited about 5 hours for RoadNet to arrive. My insurance company had to select another towing company to help me and that company came in less than 10 minutes. Then the driver calls me to tell me he is on his way but that the tow isn’t completely covered and that I would have to pay $75 out of pocket for the tow. At this point I was tired of dealing with it so I just said whatever. I then call BMW to complain about them telling me I was covered and the driver telling me I’m not. BMW again tells me I’m covered and that they will call the company and make sure they know. Someone from the tow company then reaches out to say he shouldn’t have done that but a driver will be there in 30 min. Not the whole 90 minutes which would have made the total time that I would have had to wait 3 hours. The apple towing guy was nice and got me out pretty quickly when he arrived. I would totally recommend APPLE TOWING company. My advice is stay away from ROADNET if thats what your insurance assigns you. The roadnet driver then calls me at 3:13 p.m. to tell me he is here, I look outside but I don't see him. I ask him where he is and he tells me he dropped my vehicle at suite 200. I tell him the address is suite 300. He tells me he has already taken my vehicle off his truck. I ask him who are you giving my key to. He says that I will have to come around there to get it. I tell him that I paid $32 to have my vehicle towed to a specific address and that is where my vehicle is supposed to be. He then drives my vehicle around looking for the correct suite. I end up leaving my office to drive around to look for him. I tell him that I see your truck. He says he is coming back to his truck. He ends up following me to the correct suite, dropped my car off, and told me to take him back to his truck. I do just that and I tell him that I am calling State Farm to ask for a refund. He does not understand why I am doing that because he says that he brought my car. Not only did he drop my car at the wrong address, he also drove my vehicle with the transmission not working. He was going to leave my vehicle at an address that I was physically not at. GOD only knows what he was going to do with my key. I called State Farm, filed a complaint, and got a refund. I then called Roadnet, asked to speak to a Supervisor, filed a complaint, and got the phone hung up in my face. I will never use Roadnet again! The tow driver's name was Ali. JUST TO GET TO ME, LOCKED THE DOOR AND CLOSED IT, AFTER I HAD JUST TOLD HIM WE HAD NO XTRA KEY AND THE DOORS HAVE TO GET UNLOCKED WITH THE CONTROL. HE "TRIED" TO START GETTING AN ATTITUDE WITH ME TALKING ABOUT HE WAS JUST GOING TO UNLOCK THE CAR AND LEAVE IT HERE. I live near the Galleria area and the traffic is horrible but Roadnet still came to tow after an hour and sometimes 30 minutes.
