They were very patient and did not give up on us. Ashley was able to work with us to get us a weekend class for a private 1 to 1 with master which worked out well when we came back for the 1 to 1 class. I have 2 kiddos in Master Min's class. My daughter is 8yr and son is 10yr. Both are very shy and didn't want to do it. They didn't have a choice! Ha ha! After the 1st class, they loved it. And Master Min is very playful with the kids in class and really encourages them to do their best. Master Shin helps out in class and he's also very attentive to the kids and makes sure to correct the kiddos' mistakes to help them improve. I'm so proud of my kids for taking on this challenge. I took my girls for a trial back on January and thinking they probably won’t like it but to my surprise, they wanted me to enroll right away. My 5 year old son started TKD Little Tigers about two months ago, and he’s been enjoying his classes. Master Min does a great job of emphasizing discipline and confidence while making learning TKD fun, focused, and kid friendly. It’s really important to be consistent with attending classes and being on time to get the most out of a 30 minute class. I’ve noticed that my son has gotten a lot out of each class since Master Min implements small goals for the kids to achieve. They get a stripe on their belt for certain achievements, which includes attendance, counting in Korean, and/or demonstrating a task (e.g., a forearm block). This process makes it fun and motivating to have some friendly competition among the kids in the class, and it’s also really encouraging for kids to keep moving towards a bigger goal, which is belt promotion. As an active 5 year old, my son benefits from a little bit of focused learning outside of school that helps him expel energy while learning something new and important. We’ve enjoyed taking him to class, and there’s been noticeable progress on his ability to focus and concentrate on a task. We highly recommend!! Less
