Amazing experience at Screw City CF. Allen the owner and coach we had was friendly, knowledgeable and personable. The gym was clean and the members were also friendly and welcoming. We will be back the next time we are in Rockford

I've been coming to this box for over a year now, and I can honestly say it’s an amazing place. It’s well-equipped with everything you need, the classes are super engaging, and the coaches are incredibly attentive, they take the time to guide you and ensure your movements are on point. If you’re thinking about starting CrossFit, this is definitely the place to do it! Llevo más de un año viniendo a este box, y la verdad está buenísimo. Tienen de todo: buenas máquinas, clases entretenidas, y entrenadores que no te dejan hacer locuras con los movimientos (aunque a veces igual las hago). This is a great gym. The instructors are very knowledgeable. They truely want you to succeed and have fun. The members are very welcoming and supportive. This is great place to start or continue your CrossFit journey.

My husband and I joined Screw City in 2023. We were a little nervous about starting CrossFit as we are both 50+. I can honestly say joining Screw City was one of the best decisions we’ve made. The coaching staff is very supportive and knowledgeable. The gym is very clean. Awesome community!!! Great programming!! Now almost a year in, it’s the best hour of our day!

The coaching staff is amazing! I have been a member here for over 5 years and have worked through injuries and 2 pregnancies. No matter what has come up the coaches are great with coming up with scalable options to make sure you are still getting a great workout in. The gym really is a community feeling. Everyone is always so encouraging and welcoming. I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a new gym or are trying to get back to a healthy lifestyle.

Great gym to start out in if you’re hesitant on working out or getting into CrossFit. All trainers are very knowledgeable and will help you in every way. Substantial amount of supplements, 24/7 access and yoga offered at the gym as well.

Hands down the most outfitted CrossFit gym in the Rockford area. On time classes, great and knowledgable trainers. 24 hour access is awesome as well. The trainers are extremely educated and some hold their L2 certifications which is a huge plus. The gym is always clean, organized and ready for whatever WOD you want to throw at it. The box has over 10 C2 bikes, 10 C2 rowers, 3 assault runners, 10 Echo bikes and 5 C2 skiers, loads of barbells and pretty much anything you can think of. I cannot thank their head trainer Heather enough for finally convincing me to join and the owner Allen for running a tight ship. Day one will always be the hardest day, each day after that is always a win. Thanks SCCF!!

If you are on the fence about getting back into shape, I highly recommend coming to Screw City CrossFit. Allen has put together an amazing place to workout, set goals, push yourself and meet lots of very cool people. This place has changed my life in so many ways. All levels are welcome and everything is scalable to meet your current levels. You will feel supported and encouraged from day one and I promise you it’s fun!!!

My husband and I have been going to the gym for 3 months, we have noticed a big difference in how we look and feel. We are hooked on Screw City Crossfit their trainers are amazing and so helpful we are crossfitters for life. Oh I forgot to mention we are 63 and 64 and do the Forever Fit classes.

Dropped in for a class in 2019 and never left! Great coaches, supportive members and clean gym. Coaches ability to scale all movements for all ability levels is so helpful. I was able to continue working out safely during my entire pregnancy from June 2021 until February 2022. After having my daughter I was welcomed back with lots of support and encouragement. If you’re looking for a gym that will hold you accountable while also pushing you to be your best- this is it!!

Coaches are knowledgeable and always willing to help better anyone who walks through the doors no matter their fitness level. They take the time and are patient and explain every workout and answer any and all questions. The community is one of the best I’ve been part of and is a reason I come back everyday. Screw City CrossFit is hands down the best gym I’ve been to! The coaches are very encouraging and knowledgeable. The members are all extremely supportive as well. The CrossFit culture and environment is the perfect place to push your limits and get fit if that’s what you want! Please come check them out and I promise you won’t regret it. My wife and I have been there for about 3 years and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made!
