I had NYH Moving Company assist with moving items from my mom’s upstairs apartment to her downstairs apartment in the same complex. There were several issues with the apartment complex and we got the keys to my mom’s be apartment almost a week after we were supposed to. NYH was extremely flexible with us having to move the expected move date several times. Thomas and Josh came out to move my mom with very little notice. Their communication was great from a prompt arrival time to constant check ins about what was being moved to where. Thomas and Josh were also very friendly and patient, as they had to navigate around several adults, children and a little dog to get the move done in the small apartment. They also went above and beyond disassembling ave reassembling my mom’s bed and just doing what they could to make her feel comfortable. I really appreciated their professionalism and kindness, not to mention hard work and diligence in 110 degree weather. I would absolutely recommend NYH and Thomas and Josh to anyone who asked! Less

They were able to book me with a short notice. They agreed to go to two locations, to my storage unit and my new home. I was downsizing quite a bit, so a good amount of my belongings were going into storage. The movers were friendly. I did feel like there was some loss to attention to detail. For example I had to ask them more than once to get the boxes from my patio closet (I did not have the space to bring them inside). They did not get all of the boxes, I ended up having to go back and move that myself. Also, they did not set up everything in my new home, like my t.v. Other movers that I have used in they past would set up and arrange everything. My t.v. is quite heavy and I cannot get it on the stand by myself. I am grateful that they were able to go to my storage unit. They made sure to wrap my furniture well that was going to storage. Even though it was hot out they did not let that bother them. Less
