Plenty of parking and we got seated pretty fast for a Saturday evening. Our waitress was very good and ultra attentive. The food was pretty good, just a little overcooked. Definitely would go again.

The food is great and it has a good atmosphere. Service is consistent. Prices are good. Meatloaf is really good, IMO, so give it a try!

I have been going to George's in Waco for over 2 1/2 decades and recently I I have been extremely disappointed in the service. Most of the waitresses I have had have NOT been friendly or attentive. At least twice, I felt absolutely ignored. I love the food so I keep going back hoping it will get better. On at least 2 occasions I have talked to the managers who are very nice, but the service has not gotten any better.

Even though I go through Waco a lot, I have never stooped to eat here. Last weekend, my daughter suggested meeting here for lunch….im so glad she did! We will definitely be back. The chicken fried steak is the best I have had in a loooong time.

We tried George's on a lark - in Waco attending a Law Enforcement conference. Outstanding!! I had the veggie plate and my husband had the chicken fried steak!! Everything was perfect and our waitress was the best!! We'll be headed back to East Texas tomorrow, but we're headed back to George's this evening for hamburgers!!
