Fortitude

I joined Fortitude because apparently training once or twice a week with no semblance of a plan wasn’t the most “sustainable” way to live. Who knew? One or two mega sessions left me broken for days and not exactly smashing it at work either.Enter Fortitude. The coaches actually know what they’re doing (shocking, I know), and the structured programmes mean I don’t have to wander around wondering what to do next and I can just turn up and have fun! The regular check-ins are also very handy for when I start wobbling...The atmosphere? Honestly, it’s insane. The coaches genuinely care, the members cheer so loud for you, (when really you’ve just survived burpees) and River (the emotional support spaniel) gets a special mention too 🐾.YEARS on, strength is up, I may still hate running (and probably always will), but the biggest surprise is that I actually enjoy training now. Wild. Staying consistent in one gym for YEARS is a crazy idea, but hey - its happening!!So, if you want structure, accountability, and a bunch of people who make suffering through a workout feel fun, Fortitude is the place. Big shoutout to the coaches who somehow manage to keep us all motivated while pretending to enjoy our pain.Ps. Do I get my t-shirt now, or is cardio a requirement? Asking for a friend. 😂
