No one showed up for my makeup and hair trial for my wedding. I had to call and email and text, only to be told there was a glitch and she would be an hour late. Megan herself was not there, it was an employee who was very sweet but very bad. She could not in the slightest recreate the makeup or hair photo I showed her, which was a very simple low bun. She also would not do what I asked for both my hair and makeup, for example would not do simple eyeliner because she said it would look bad on me. She also did a French twist instead of my low bun because she “thought it would look good with my dress.” I appreciate her being kind but I am paying for a service not her personal opinion, especially when I paid so much and she was an hour late. They did give me a refund for the wedding, but only a partial refund for the trial.

For my wedding makeup I really wanted to feel like myself while being a little elevated. I came across a video of a bride who worked with Megan Michelle Artistry and instantly fell in love. The booking process was incredibly easy and the team went above and beyond to work with me when my bridal party changed. Leading up to the wedding I received helpful guides for timeline creation and what to expect on the morning of.Three months before my wedding I scheduled a bridal makeup trial, where I was matched with April. From the first meeting I knew I would be in great hands. April was so kind and patiently listened to my vision for my wedding. She created a beautiful warm golden look that made me tear up on first view. April also had no problem working with me to tweak certain elements to align with my vision. In the morning of my wedding, April was on time and incredibly professional. She was so kind and helped everyone create looks which matched their personality. April was also incredibly diligent in making sure her products and station was cleaned in between each person. April completed each look quickly without feeling like she was rushing and made each person feel like they were being pampered. My party and I received so many compliments and our makeup stayed on all night (even after 3 hours of dancing). I even have really acne prone skin but I didn’t break out at all from the makeup! I seriously cannot recommend April and the Megan Michelle team enough!

Working with the Megan Micelle Artistry team was very easy! They supplied me with my personal hair and makeup artist, Ashley and Rose, and they did AMAZING!! They worked with my short time frame and managed to set up trials a week before my wedding (don’t procrastinate like me) and they spent the time to make sure I got the looks I wanted. Both women knew what they were doing and in these trials they really encouraged me to speak up about things I liked and more importantly things I didn’t like. Because of their care and professionalism I went home knowing I was going to look exactly how I wanted to on my wedding day with zero stress and absolute bliss. Not only did they work wonderfully for me, but also for my bridesmaids! They really do care to make sure we all felt beautiful on the day of the wedding and I couldn't have been happier. On the technical side my makeup and hair lasted ALL day through 80+ degree heat and humidity for my outdoor garden wedding. They also provided their own equipment and high quality products for the day, all they needed was space in the house we were getting ready in.Thank you again to Rose and Ashley for their skill and dedication, you made the day extra special!

I had such a wonderful experience with Megan Michelle Artistry for my wedding day! Melissa did my makeup and Joanne did my hair, and they absolutely nailed the exact glam look I was going for.For my hair, I wanted a retro 1940s-inspired, side-swept style, and Joanne brought the vision to life beautifully. Melissa gave me exactly what I had described for my makeup: glamorous and special enough for my wedding day, without feeling over-the-top or unlike myself. Even better, everything lasted beautifully throughout the entire day and evening! The experience was also incredibly organized from start to finish. Prior to the wedding, I received a detailed beauty timeline with the schedule for both my sister and me, along with clear instructions on how to prepare. On the day of the wedding, Melissa and Joanne arrived on time and had both of us completely ready within the scheduled timeline — something I especially appreciated on a day when timing matters so much.Beyond their talent, they were professional, warm, and wonderful to have there while we were getting ready. Having my sister with me and feeling so beautiful and confident made that part of the day even more special.Thank you to Melissa, Joanne, and Megan Michelle Artistry for your professionalism, skill, and for helping me feel exactly how I hoped I would on my wedding day. I couldn't have been happier with the final look!

I gave five stars because six stars didn’t exist as an option. I appreciated right away that the prices were on the website- and for those who question if it’s worth it- it is! This team is so talented!Yana did my wedding makeup and also a different trial before that. She is very lovely to talk to during the process and makes you feel seen and heard during so as well. Obviously, she knows what she is doing and was able to transform me in a way I didn’t know makeup could do. I felt like a princess and for a once in a lifetime day- do NOT be cheap with the makeup because you will regret. I highly recommend this business.Megan Michelle did my first trial and worked with my schedule. The makeup turned out beautiful and it’s evident that this art is a craft that has taken time to master because not just anyone can know what to do and work with people like me who don’t know anything about makeup. She also helped me with emails leading up the wedding day.

I hired Megan and her team for make up & hair for my wedding. They did services for all my bridesmaids and the moms. They were incredible. From the communication beforehand, to the day of. We even had a last minute service needed and they made it happen. The expertise was top level across all the artists. Each bridesmaids vision came to life. I was drawn to Megan by the beautiful photos I saw on her website and social media, and I'm happy to report they’re not stolen/severely edited/AI! She’s every bit as talented as she appears to be! Megan is a bit on the shy side, but she’s still very easy to talk to and get along with. She’s incredibly sweet and I was very happy even with the initial trial. I had a few minor tweaks I wanted for the big day, and she listened perfectly to all my feedback! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and I'm super pleased with how it photographed! We had enough services that we needed an additional artist, and Jen did a great job on my friends/family. I’m so happy I put myself in Megan’s capable hands, and will happily recommend Megan Michelle Artistry to anyone looking for a hair/makeup artist!

Megan was absolutely AMAZING! I first worked with her during my initial trial for my engagement photos and after seeing how beautiful that look turned out, I knew my wedding makeup would be absolutely perfect. She is so easy going and made a couple of tweaks to the look that I requested for the actual wedding day that I loved.I had myself, five bridesmaids and two moms getting their makeup done, and Megan brought along another artist who was equally incredible. They worked so efficiently, kept everything calm and fun, and made sure everyone looked flawless. My makeup lasted throughout the entire day — from the ceremony to the after party — and she even gave me a little touch-up kit for later in the evening. Everyone looked stunning, and we still had time to spare at the end for touch-ups.I truly can’t recommend Megan enough! She’s talented, professional, and such a sweet presence to have around on such an important day. I can't wait to have her glam me again!

She made me feel very comfortable during the process, she made sure to check in with me during the process to make sure I was satisfied. I would hire her again for future events!

Megan made me feel comfortable and beautiful both at my trial and on my wedding day. I am so happy I trusted her with both my hair and makeup for my big day. She was very professional, listened to my feedback/vision, and was able to work with me on all points. I appreciated her honesty and talking me into bigger lashes!!! Haha. It was a plus that she was easy to talk to, fun, and an overall pleasure to have in the bridal suite. That fact that she covered both hair and makeup was a big selling point for me to keep my day simple and streamlined. My hair stayed up ALL NIGHT, no problem and I had so many compliments on styling. Makeup was also so on point!!!! Thank you again Megan!

I cannot say enough great things about Megan!! If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose her. From the trial to wedding day - everything was smooth sailing. She is so kind and made me feel so relaxed. Before the makeup trial, I had never had my makeup professionally done so the whole thing was new to me. I thought I’d be too nervous to speak up if there was something I wanted to change but Megan made me feel so comfortable! We made minor adjustment to blush and lip color and on wedding day my makeup was perfect! She also did my hair and I was obsessed. On top of her amazing artistry, she perfectly planned out a timeline for wedding day which made the getting ready process stress free. Megan is very talented and I would recommend her to anyone getting married!!

Megan is a master at what she does. Her team is efficient, fun to be around and truly top notch artists. She did my wedding hair and make up (and let me tell you I’m a particular individual with a high bar if I do say so myself) and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect. My face looks flawless in photos and it didn’t morph me into someone everyone had to do a double take on. I am wishing Megan Michelle Artistry lots of success in the future and she will be my go to recommendation for anyone looking to have their hair and makeup done for their wedding day. Can I also add that Megan has a very calming presence that is so crucial on a day like your wedding.

Megan was a total delight to work with for my bridal makeup and bridal trial, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone needing glam! As someone who wears little makeup typically, I felt so confident with the natural, soft glam look she created for my wedding day. I still felt like myself, just glammed up for my special day. Megan was extremely attentive to details that were important to me, and was very gracious with all of the feedback I gave during and after our bridal trial. She has a lot of knowledge, skill, and talent, and was so sweet to work with to top it off! I wouldn’t hesitate to book Megan again!

I cannot recommend Megan and her team enough! They did my bridal hair and makeup, along with hair and makeup for 8 bridesmaids, and did an absolutely incredible job. Not only were they incredibly skilled and fast (we stayed perfectly on schedule!), but they also brought such a calm, fun, and positive energy to the pre-wedding festivities! Despite all of us wanting totally different looks, they executed each one beautifully and they lasted all night. I’m so grateful Megan and her team were part of my day!

Megan arrived at our hotel about ten minutes early to do mine and my wife's makeup. We were having a court ceremony, so it was just the two of us. We communicated through email that we'd be getting rooms next to one another, so she'd be going from one room to the next. The first question she asked me was "I won't be moving, right?" We had also communicated through email that she had the entire day blocked out for us. However, when she finished my makeup sooner than anticipated and my wife wasn't ready to have her makeup done, she admitted that she was in a hurry because she had double booked herself. She may have finished early because she used a strip lash instead of the individuals we used at my trial, but I don't know enough about makeup to know that for sure. Since she was in a hurry, I offered to let her into my wife's empty hotel room so she could set up her stuff. I then asked her to come back to my room when my wife returned, because my wife wanted to shower. She never returned to the room. I found out later from my wife that she stayed in the room while she showered, told her to shower quickly, and didn't use the bronzer she used in the trial. Her demeanor itself was professional but fairly cold. I know we did a court ceremony and had no bridal party, but we were still paying customers who were told in writing not to worry, we had the whole day. We looked good but didn't feel very good about how we were treated.

Megan was absolutely amazing for my wedding day! As someone who does not have the most experience with makeup, I was pretty apprehensive and searched for months for someone that matched what I was looking for. Megan was perfect! She is so so talented, incredibly kind, and very professional. At my trial, she delivered exactly what I wanted in my inspiration photos. Then, when I decided I wanted a few tweaks day of, she executed them perfectly. I genuinely could not have been happier with my wedding day look! And she was amazing for my mother-in-law and my bridesmaids. They all adored their makeup! My mother-in-law has not stopped raving about how much she loved her makeup - she looked so beautiful! Megan is an amazing artist and I could not recommend her enough. Thank you, Megan!

Megan and her team did hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law, for my wedding, and they did a phenomenal job! Everyone on her team was timely, responsive, quick, but also very thorough! Her rates are also very fair - especially for the quality of service. Cannot recommend Megan Michelle Artistry enough!!
