This is an awesome MMA gym! For absolute beginners, I highly recommend! If you don’t know anything about striking nor grappling, you can ask them to teach you the very fundamentals and correct your form! Went to drill spar and live learning/corrections over time. I like learning this way since it’s very real and provides immediate feedback, so I make less mistakes in the future. I was able to learn how to strike, grapple standing, and grapple on the ground, so that’s a plus for my confidence and self defense ability. You can definitely learn a lot, and do it at your own pace for the best experience! So far, I learned the striking, gi brazilian jiu jitsu, no gi brazilian jiu jitsu, judo, and last, but not least MMA, the strongest and hardest class which make you an overall better fighter. Well, I call it intermediate/advanced striking with wrestling, so if you wonder where wrestling is. No gi bjj is also wrestling, but with submissions. Haha. I think I recommend getting in shape or getting good at the other classes first before MMA, yet they are accommodating for newbies if you are one, to help understand it and progress smoother. I did the MMA class because I really wanted to become a better fighter and the strong curiosity piqued my interest to take it!In just 1 month, I definitely see progress in my conditioning, reaction time, and martial ability to hit faster, more accurately, and stronger! I think this place will make you a well rounded fighter and help figure out what you like since it has gi and no gi arts. Take a free trial and see for yourself!
