What an absolutely incredible experience! I took my granddaughter Grace for a trail ride at Veteran Equine Time, and I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about it. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming and kind, and you could immediately tell how well cared for and loved the horses are. The trail ride itself was beautiful — peaceful country scenery, riding along the fields and through the trees, and just the perfect pace to relax and enjoy every minute. Seeing Grace up on her horse, smiling and having such a great time, made this one of those experiences I know we’ll both remember for a very long time. What makes Veteran Equine Time even more special is the heart behind what they do. You can feel that this is so much more than simply taking people horseback riding. There’s a genuine sense of purpose, kindness, and community there. We had an absolutely amazing time and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a unique, wholesome experience and a wonderful way to spend time together, I cannot recommend Veteran Equine Time enough. Thank you for giving Grace and me such a special memory together!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for more than just a trail ride, I can't recommend Veteran Equine Time highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious this isn't a typical horseback riding experience. The staff and volunteers genuinely care—not only about every guest, but also about the horses. You can see the bond they have with each animal, and it's clear their welfare comes first. The trails are absolutely beautiful, winding through peaceful woods that make it easy to disconnect from the stress of everyday life. Whether you're an experienced rider or it's your very first time in the saddle, everyone is welcomed, encouraged, and made to feel comfortable. Safety is clearly a priority, but so is making sure you have an unforgettable experience. What makes Veteran Equine Time truly special is its mission. Knowing that our ride helps support programs serving veterans, first responders, youth, and others in the community made the experience even more meaningful. It's rare to find a place where you leave feeling like you've had an amazing adventure while also contributing to something much bigger than yourself. The horses were calm, well cared for, and full of personality. Our group spent hours laughing, enjoying nature, and making memories we'll be talking about for a long time. Looking through our photos afterward, you can genuinely see the joy on everyone's faces. Whether you're local to Clarksville or just visiting, Veteran Equine Time deserves to be on your must-do list. It's an experience that feeds the soul, reconnects you with nature, and reminds you just how therapeutic time with horses can be. We'll absolutely be back. Thank you for everything you do—for your horses, your guests, and our community. 🐴❤️

This place has the most beautiful horses, very well trained, calm. Dar is the most kind person, and extremely knowledgeable about horses. I took 1 hour ride, and the service I received was phenomenal, beyond words. I definitely recommend this place if you love horse back riding and get training classes.

We had a really great time horseback riding. Dar and Cindy were both so friendly and made everything feel easy from the start. It didn’t feel rushed or overly structured—just a genuinely enjoyable experience. The horses were calm and well taken care of, and the ride itself was super peaceful. Dar was helpful and made sure everyone was comfortable, whether you’ve ridden before or not. Overall, it was just a great way to spend some time outside. We’d definitely recommend this for a date night or a family outing—it’s something everyone can enjoy. Really appreciate Dar and Cindy for making it such a good experience—we’d definitely come back.

My wife and I had a great time with Mr. Dar and his horses! We were able to enjoy our ride, talk about a few life lessons, and share stories! I would recommend them for anyone! We really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary!

My husband and I booked a horseback ride as something different to do together. We loved it! Dar and Cindy are some of the kindest people we have met and Dar had the group laughing and engaged the whole ride. The ride itself was pretty and relaxing. Both Dar and Tad made the experience great, especially since we were both a little nervous to ride in the beginning. Dar was right there with the group to give guidance along the ride. We definitely will be back!

My pre-teen son and I went on a moonlit ride for a Momma Son date. I'm a big believer in enjoying fun and thrilling experiences not only for the adventure but the bonding experience. These days having a conversation with my boy I get one worded responses that lack excitement or sincerity. After our ride I asked him if he liked it, he said that he didn't like it, he LOVED it. He then proceeded to talk about it the entire 30 minute ride home. Not only do I think this place is great but I think that the experience was tailored to be just what my kiddo and I needed ♡

What a great experience with V.E.T.! The ride was very laid-back, unlike other rides I've been on. Dar was very engaging and relaxed, which made my daughter and me very comfortable around his horses. I highly recommend V.E.T. to all veterans and anyone else seeking a fun and relaxing ride! 👍🐴 #Veterans #Horses #Relaxation #Fun #Recommendation

Today my step daughter and I had the opportunity to visit Mr Darr and his family for an amazing trip on the trail w/ MY HORSE Henry😍!!! They all made me and my step daughter feel like family. It has been a minute since we both rode a horse, and they were all there along the way to help us get back comfortable. I even had the chance of a miniature run with Henry. I can’t wait until we go back. I literally felt like they were family. We really had some great conversations and a really great trail ride. Thank you, i can’t thank you enough honestly!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ +⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ RATING very kid friendly and family friendly. I strongly highly suggest #VeteranEquineTime

I had a wonderful time during my trail ride!! I can’t wait to go back and ride again. I’ve done trail riding in Hawaii and now see that it was just sitting rather than riding. Definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed a 2 hour ride this morning and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had, from the moment we arrived, to the end of the 2 hours. We go to groom the horses and bond with them before we mounted. Then Darr, the owner gave us all a great presentation about proper horse back riding and how to gain the most fun from our experience. Darr and Josh (and the rest of the family that were there) were wonderful people to talk too and we immediately felt like we were close friends/famiky. He gave us some freedom to really enjoy our horses and our ride and had many opportunities to trot, gallop and just casually walk the beautiful trails! We enjoyed great conversation and If you needed any assistance, they were right there to help in every way. The horses were all so wonderful and the for our us enjoyed our ride. The whole experience was definitely worth the cost. We will definitely be returning when we come down for another visit. (Wish we lived around here full time lol) If you want a great horse back riding experience and to feel the wind in your face, I highly recommend coming here!!! This will be a morning we will never forget! Thank you to Darr, Josh and even Penny, for an enjoyable morning!!! 😊

Dar is a great experienced horseman. Whether you ever been on a horse before or a seasoned rider, you can feel confident you’ll enjoy the time with his well trained horses riding in the country by the corn fields by the Cumberland river. His main purpose is to help veterans work through some of the issues they may be facing either during their service or after they separate. If you are a veteran in need of some help, guidance, or just reassurance this is a great place to come to decompress. If you’re not a veteran and would just like to ride, following the link on the page to set up an appointment. I guarantee you’ll be glad you did.

Had an amazing ride with Veteran Equine Time! Dar was very professional, down to Earth, and provided top tier instruction and guidance for me as a newbie. I definitely hope to get to go back for another trail ride before we PCS to the next duty station. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a fun ride!
