From the moment we arrived, it was obvious this isn't a typical horseback riding experience. The staff and volunteers genuinely care—not only about every guest, but also about the horses. You can see the bond they have with each animal, and it's clear their welfare comes first. The trails are absolutely beautiful, winding through peaceful woods that make it easy to disconnect from the stress of everyday life. Whether you're an experienced rider or it's your very first time in the saddle, everyone is welcomed, encouraged, and made to feel comfortable. Safety is clearly a priority, but so is making sure you have an unforgettable experience. What makes Veteran Equine Time truly special is its mission. Knowing that our ride helps support programs serving veterans, first responders, youth, and others in the community made the experience even more meaningful. It's rare to find a place where you leave feeling like you've had an amazing adventure while also contributing to something much bigger than yourself. The horses were calm, well cared for, and full of personality. Our group spent hours laughing, enjoying nature, and making memories we'll be talking about for a long time. Looking through our photos afterward, you can genuinely see the joy on everyone's faces. Whether you're local to Clarksville or just visiting, Veteran Equine Time deserves to be on your must-do list. This place has the most beautiful horses, very well trained, calm. Dar is the most kind person, and extremely knowledgeable about horses. I took 1 hour ride, and the service I received was phenomenal, beyond words. I definitely recommend this place if you love horse back riding and get training classes.

We had a really great time horseback riding. Dar and Cindy were both so friendly and made everything feel easy from the start. It didn’t feel rushed or overly structured—just a genuinely enjoyable experience. The horses were calm and well taken care of, and the ride itself was super peaceful. Dar was helpful and made sure everyone was comfortable, whether you’ve ridden before or not. Overall, it was just a great way to spend some time outside. We’d definitely recommend this for a date night or a family outing—it’s something everyone can enjoy. Really appreciate Dar and Cindy for making it such a good experience—we’d definitely come back.

I had such an amazing time riding horses at Veteran Equine Time & it was my first ride ever! You can truly tell how much he loves his horses and what he does. He was so patient with me, incredibly kind, & made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. His passion for the horses really shows, & the whole experience was relaxing & enjoyable. What an amazing day! My spouse and I are always trying to try find new ways to enjoy this life and Veteran Equine Time was a great adventure. Very personable and relatable people, very organized and professional and the horses were perfect, even in the rain we had a wonderful time from the forest ride to the comedy from our guide! This was my daughter's first time on a horse by herself. She just had a birthday and wanted to go for a trail ride. As soon as she got back she ran to me, all smiles, and asked when she could go again. We don't even live in Tennessee, but she'd like to move here to be able to be part of their homeschooling classes. The horses are extremely well cared for and not your sad follow the leader horses. They have acres to graze on and come running when called to. We were treated like family and will definitely go again when we come back into town. HIghly recommend!!!

My husband and I booked a horseback ride as something different to do together. We loved it! Dar and Cindy are some of the kindest people we have met and Dar had the group laughing and engaged the whole ride. The ride itself was pretty and relaxing. Both Dar and Tad made the experience great, especially since we were both a little nervous to ride in the beginning. Dar was right there with the group to give guidance along the ride. We definitely will be back!
