I was looking for someone to install a Zappi EV charger to work with my solar array and battery. LA Electrical had good reviews, were familiar with the system and were local so I invited them to quote. Although their price wasn't the lowest, the expert knowledge and care taken by Richard who came to survey the job and give me the quote impressed me much more than some others. Overall they seemed to offer "Best Value for Money!" In my opinion there's no point in saving a few ££ initially only to have trouble and bills for years to come. Installation of 2 new ceiling lights in the kitchen. Richard came and looked at what was required and took details for recommending the correct type of lights required. The quotation was provided and an installation date and time agreed. Matthew attended at the agreed time and installed the 2 light fittings which were ideal for the purpose. He demonstrated how to change both the intensity and colour hue of the lights and made sure that we were fully satisfied before he left. I had a Rolec charger fitted by LA Electrical for my electric car which developed a fault afyer nearly three years. The fault is common with a component of these chargers and was not a fault of the installation which was first class. I rang LA Electrical who sorted out the replacement part with Rolec and at no charge and inconvenience to me. The part was fitted promptly and their engineer, Matt, was so helpful, polite and arrived on time fitting the part in less than thirty minutes with no fuss or disturbance. I recently had the pleasure of engaging LA Electrical to do some work on my house which, being Victorian and having a ‘non traditional’ electrical set up ended up being more complicated than originally thought! However, electrician Dom advised us of the best way forward and went away and provided a revised quote which was still very reasonable. He then returned with two colleagues who proceeded to do the work quickly, tidily and with minimal disruption.
