The trainers at ZoomRoom possess a wealth of knowledge and displayed remarkable patience and skill while working with my dog. They utilized positive reinforcement techniques, making the learning process enjoyable for both me and my four-legged companion. I was astonished by the progress my dog made in such a short period. We progressed from Puppy class, towards Obedience, and now Agility training. Another reviewer mentioned classes could be large at times causing less time for your dog to go through the Agility course, but that's understandable due to growing membership. However just because you're waiting for your turn does not mean you cannot use the opportunity to learn. I use the time by watching other owners and their dogs go through the course and listening what the trainers are saying to help each owner/dog go through the course. Basically, I'm still being attentive of the instructions and tips the trainer is giving to the owner who is doing the course during the time because it can help me when it is my turn. I actually prefer NOT to be the first one to start class and maybe be the 3rd because I get to digest the instructions before it is my turn. So just because you're waiting for your turn does not mean it's not a learning opportunity for you. Moreover, the variety of classes offered by ZoomRoom is truly impressive. Whether you're looking for obedience training, agility, or even tricks classes, they have it all. The flexibility in scheduling allowed me to find the perfect class for my busy lifestyle. Sarah, the owner, always has her members in mind and is always adapting to the needs of her members, whether it is adding more classes or adding to the schedule for evenings etc. she is all about adapting to the needs of her members. One aspect that stood out was the attention to safety and cleanliness. ZoomRoom maintains the highest standards of hygiene, ensuring a safe environment for both dogs and humans. I appreciated the sanitization protocols they followed diligently. Teddy is the class "roomba" because he is treat oriented and he would sniff for leftover treats that other owners left behind in class, but the trainers understand Teddy's uniqueness and will try to make class easier for Teddy and I by cleaning up prior to our class session if they know that we were coming. When they told me of their efforts, that's how I know they care of my experience at ZoomRoom. To top it all off, the sense of community at ZoomRoom is heartwarming. The fellow dog owners I met during classes were friendly and supportive, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. It was wonderful to connect with like-minded individuals and share our experiences. In summary, I cannot recommend ZoomRoom highly enough. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, allowing me to bring my newborn to sleep in the stroller while I work with my large German Shepherd. They've let me watch classes when mom life prevented me from showing up in time to participate, and allowed me to keep my credit. We love Zoom Room. My Doodle was trained there before Covid. Now, my Maltese is receiving his best training and he loves it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I lost my beloved girl last year, but I am happy to say there is a new pup in my life.  I was elated to find that my local Zoom Room had changed hands and is going strong with a nice staff in place. Emmy came to her first class as a trembling little mess, but the instructor was right there to see her distress and to provide a quiet room where she could observe from a distance.  That was all Emmy needed to quickly become quite bold. We love the Zoom Room! As first time dog parents we had a lot to learn with obedience. We started with obedience 1, and after 5 classes our pup Penny graduated. The skills taught in class were great. This experience has left me very confident that we picked the right place for our pup. Every class was so much fun for Sophee and we loved seeing her run around and play with the other pups. Our only complaint about puppy preschool was the downtime during class when each pup does an exercise one at a time (like encountering the "scary" items) and we had to wait patiently for each pup to make their rounds. Now that Sophee is fully vaccinated, we started taking her to puppy obedience classes. We've only done one obedience class but we really enjoyed it. We train Sophee at home every day, but we picked up some good training tips during obedience class. We'll consider other obedience classes once we finish our 8 class package. The staff at Zoom Room Redondo Beach have also been really great to work with. She has issues with confidence, and having positive interactions with other humans and dogs is crucial for her. It has a fantastic agility course and fun props and toys for the dogs to use in their training exercises and to learn tricks with. And if you need treats or a bone? They have a huge selection of both and toys for purchase at very reasonable prices. And they don't just train the dogs, they train us to be good dog owners which is so important. One of the things my dog has learned from tricks class is how to ring a bell. Now that he has had obedience training too, I have been able to train him at home to stop on demand barking at us for attention and instead he rings his bell which he also uses to tell us he has to go outside. One or two rings for pee and 47 rings for poop. Haha. I could not be happier with this facility and it's staff. My dog loves his trainers so much and shows them so much respect it's wonderful to see. If you have a dog that needs obedience training or wants to learn tricks and or agility? This 100% is the place you should bring them. A wheelchair, a walker, crutches and a vacuum cleaner were all used. Next up is puppy training + and then the trainer said because he’s doing so well he can go straight to obedience 2. We can’t wait! I have been bringing my dog to get trained at Zoom Room since he was 9 weeks old (he is now 22 weeks old) and he loves it so much! He gets so excited every week when we take him in. The facility is very clean and they have the puppy classes first each day after sterilizing the place. The instructors are great and I highly recommend puppy preschool! The majority of the class you are learning core commands, plus they bring out things like wheelchairs, crutches, skateboards, etc to get the puppies used to those things. I recently adopted Stella and found out that she's smart but very easily distracted around other dogs so off I went asking for obedience training recommendations and Zoom Room was brought up by several people. I've walked by a few times eating at the restaurants around the location but never really stepped in. So I decided to given them a call and see what it's all about. We ended up having a pretty lengthy chat about Stella, her background and our training goals and we all decided it would be best for her to attend an evaluation meeting with a trainer to make sure she'd be ok in the facility with other dogs. During the evaluation, we they got to chat one on one with a trainer and they really got to know Stella and made both of us more comfortable with the environment and their training methods. They even tested her dog reactivity by bringing in plush dogs that look like the real thing (she actually cautiously sniffed them like greeting a real dog). After the evaluation, we were ready to tackle Obedience 1. It was a great first class! Stella learned how to stay calm of focused throughout the entire session. She now watches intently, responds to her name with little distractions, sits, lays down and waits even with other dogs nearby. What's great is that the facility is huge for dog training and each dog is about 10' or more apart from each other in Obedience 1 with a 6 dog max per class (our classes never had more than 4). Each class is 50 mins long and I think it's great bonding time for us as we learn. Our trainer Nikki is awesome. There's something about her mannerisms and voice that Stella really responds to and she is very patient and fun when your dog might make a mistake or two. She's so great that Stella graduated in only two classes and she is now taking Agility class too! Give Zoom Room a try! I think it's a great way to better your relationship with your pup! Less

Super cool spot for your bad dog who need training lol

I take my dog for agility, and the trainers are amazing. They're very compassionate, love animals, and they're great at making owners feel comfortable learning new skills with their animals. It's been game-changing for my dog and I, and I'd recommend it to anyone and their dog!

Zoom room is amazing! Every staff member is incredibly friendly and welcoming! Tabby is an amazing trainer, we and especially our dog Tahoe Love her!!! HIGHLY recommend this place their approach to training is top notch!

I hate to be the 2nd customer to give this place one star. I am sure this place has been great to many customers. Unfortunately this was not my case. I don't write bad reviews just for the heck of it or to get a refund. I wanted to finish all the classes for my rescue 4 month old puppy. It all started wrong when on the 1st class my puppy was barking a lot and he was shy and would not play with the other puppies, the trainer seemed annoyed. You are required to schedule the next class in advance and that day I forgot to do so before leaving so I called and I was scheduled for Saturday July 27th. Went there on that day only to be told I was not on that class schedule and that I was scheduled for Sunday instead. I even repeated my self on the phone and marked it on my calendar as I was speaking to the lady. I let it slide and showed up Sunday. Again my puppy was barking, a little less but still barking and acting scared( he is a rescue and no one knows what he went through) We finished that 2nd class and I was about to walk out the door when I remembered to schedule the next class, trainer sees me from the corner of her eye and I said I wanted to schedule for next Sunday for...she cuts me off and said my dog's name and says she already has me scheduled for next sunday. I was surprised she did not need my info and had already entered it in the computer. Showed up yesterday and my puppy is barking, one nice customer approached us with her puppy and let her get close to mine as if attempting to have my puppy get comfortable around other puppies. It worked a little and he started barking again. One employee approached us and said we were not on the class schedule. (I don't forget and I don't make up stuff I remember clearly how I was told I was in for next week's class). I get in line to talk to the trainer to remind her I had scheduled a week ago before leaving class. My husband on the back with puppy barking, trainer annoyed tells something to the other employee about a corner. Sure enough the employee goes to my husband and tells him if he can please take the dog to the corner away from the crowd. We were embarrassed, humiliated and dennied to attend class becuase I was not on their schedule. My husband spoke to the trainer who is also the manager and she told him our puppy needs interaction with other puppies but it would be best to move him to private classes with dummy dogs to start and of course extra costs. How come we were not told this when we went to inquire about the classes? Why don't they give appointment cards to patrons so that we can have proof of our scheduled class? Oh and if you miss a class without cancelling within 24 hours you get charged as if you were in class which is fine and understandable but I hope they don't say I was scheduled for next week because I did not schedule anything after leaving all embarrassed yesterday. I took my dog to the dog park where I met some wonderful pet owners and my puppy little by little played with one of the dogs which felt so nice and tells me I have hope that whatever my puppy went through he can overcome with love and I guess I'll be watching youtube videos on how to train my dog. Amazing and knowledgeable staff that help you work with your dog. The facility is super clean. They offer many different classes at a reasonable price.

Amazing place with the most caring and sweet staff of trainers and associates. My 9 month old puppy and I just started our first obedience classes this week and I have already seen an improvement in not only my commands but my dogs response to said commands. I look forward to returning for our remaining classes and possibly signing up for more. My dog loves it more than I ever expected

Zoom room is so much fun for not only my dog Theodore but also for me! The trainers are super great and pay close attention to how you are training your dog and if your dog is responding well. My dog Theodore and I are focusing in Obedience one so that we can move next to agility one! Can’t wait!

I love taking my Yorkie to the Zoom Room! I’ve noticed a difference in her behavior and now she will begin puppy obedience, she just graduated from puppy preschool! I also plan on taking my Labrador puppy to begin obedience training at the Zoom Room!!!! The trainers are very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this place to anyone that has a dog!

We’ve been going to ZoomRoom for four classes far and have enjoyed every minute of it. The girls there are very friendly and helpful when we have questions about our new puppy. They welcome support whenever we need it. We feel like we’re in good hands with our new pup because of them!

My dog and I love Zoom Room Redondo Beach! We have been attending agility 1 and 2 classes so far and the experience has been great. Everybody is very nice and encouraging and they have a good schedule with a lot of different options so I can always find a time that works for me!

We have taken our 1 year old dog here for a few weeks now and have really seen an improvement in his obedience. The instructors are very knowledgeable and willing to work with you if you need extra assistance. We have enrolled in even more classes!

I have an over excited dog. Zoom Room has been exceptional in working with & helping me with her. When training was impossible they credited my account, even though it was mt dog with issues, NOT their training. The entire staff is helpfull and encouraging, an absolute pleasure to work with. I recommend them highly!!

I don't have a dog so I don't know how well they do what they have thought out so well but there was a 4 pawed customer inside and he seemed very happy with the very relaxed atmosphere, the abundance of opportunity and the friendly staff. I really want to come back for the doggy disco!

Zoom Room was recommended by one of our friends and so far, we love it! 100% positive reinforcement really keeps our Loki (5month old corgi) motivated and willing to learn. We have noticed positive changes in his behavior and less destructive habits. We are getting close to finish the puppy obedience and plan to continue enroll him in higher classes.

Zoom Room Redondo has been great for our mini Aussie! Tabitha has been patient and helpful in every class. We didn't know where to start with training our puppy and zoom room gave us the basic training skills. We would definitely recommend to anyone starting from ground zero.

You learn to trash your dog. The dog doesn't just memorize stuff and trusts the owner better. They American education system should be like this.

My dog Ellie May and I went to the zoom room for a private gym session and loved it after that we signed up for 4 obedience 1 classes today was are second class and we love it. My dog, Indiana, and I love the Zoom Room. We've been going to classes for four years and have taken pretty much everything the Zoom Room has to offer! I've seen such an improvement in my dogsd behavior. But the most important thing to me is how much he loves going there. The trainers and staff are top notch!

Buster loves the Zoom Room! He is learning basic manners in a positive, rewarding way. The trainers are all so consistent and supportive, the facility is clean and spacious. I am really enjoying Buster and my bonding time together.

Great instructors and very convenient if you have a busy schedule.

We love Zoom Room! When we first called, they suggested we come in to see if it was a good fit. We met with Tabytha who was friendly and welcoming right from the start. We try and book with her for training because she has always been great and our pup Spock LOVES her. All of the staff is always super friendly!!!

I've had dog training at various places over the years, but Zoom Room offers the best trainers and training environment that I've ever experienced so far. In addition to puppy and general obedience training, they also offer agility, tricks, CGC and private gyms. The staff is friendly, informative and helpful as well.

I went in with my dog- had to prepay for a $25 "evaluation" that consisted of looking at my pets vaccines and seeing if my dog got along with the employees. Then they said I needed a bordetella vaccination for my chihuahua. (Kennel cough) ev... More

I was so excited to go in- my daughter wanted a place she could take our small dog to play. But both times I went in there was no one there but employees. I went in with my dog- had to prepay for a $25 "evaluation" that consisted of looking at my pets vaccines and seeing if my dog got along with the employees. They also tried to tell me that the DHPP shot needed to be renewed once a year- which is incorrect- it's every 3 years with the rabies. And I get it- people make mistakes or don't know. But this lady was rude about it. When I emailed her information about the vaccines she said that websites are not always accurate. She refused a refund- and had no politeness about her at all. Waste of time and money- and still in search of a play place for small dogs. Less
