I’ve had the chance to work with Amy, the owner of CrossFit 4042, and even though I’m not a member, I can say she’s the real deal. She genuinely cares about her people, both her staff and her clients, and it shows in how she runs the gym.She’s built a place that’s welcoming to adults of all ages and fitness levels, which isn’t always easy to find. Her team reflects that same attitude, supportive, encouraging, and focused on helping people improve their health and feel better. I struggled with personal issues that made me afraid to work out. I really didn't think CrossFit was for me - but after years of putting it off, one day I walked into 4042 and met coach Amy. I told her I fully expected to be unable to complete the workouts and that I would fizzle out quickly. She didn't feed me any lines. She said that most people struggle with something and that she hoped to see me in class.That was 1 year ago. It's hard to explain how impactful the year at 4042 has been for me. It led to many positive outcomes inside and outside the gym. The growth that I have seen in myself is unreal.It turns out those personal issues that prevented me from working out weren't valid. I had struggled with other forms of exercise but for whatever reason, CrossFit has not been an issue and I'm no longer afraid to push myself!

Such a great place to work out. I’m no longer member here but when I was, it was an absolutely fantastic box. I only left due to a change in workout routine for me personally. The ownership is great and the people are great. They also have kids CrossFit as well. I highly recommend you join if looking to start or continue CrossFit.

I have never been the “athletic” type, but I wanted to try. I didn’t want to be another statistic. 9 years later, I’m more dedicated than I was at 52. 4042 gave me a new sense of purpose and accomplishment. I’m stronger physically and mentally. Nothing like sweating and complaining with your favorite people. If you are on the fence about CrossFit or exercise in general, make the leap. Come check it out. Do it for you!
