I never feel like I don’t get in an amazing workout because Rosie and Jay are so knowledgeable about muscle groups and how to make them stronger to support joints that they’ve been able to modify certain moves within our daily routines so that I can still get that full experience without damaging anything. They’re thoughtful, encouraging and really like family. I was going through a very tough time when I found them and they’ve helped me get through, I highly suggest you check them out. As a former coach at S2F, I got to work with two of the most knowledgeable and yet, knowledge hungry individuals ever. Rosie and Javier do their homework and invest a lot of time and energy into learning from specialists (Russian KB instructors, Olympic weightlifters, Power lifters, Strongmen specialists, etc). CrossFit gyms tend to get a bad rep because a lot of instructors out there are just athletes who are good at CF, not people who actually specialize in the different modalities of CF. Rosie and Javier are hellbent on learning from the best of the best and applying their education to their programming and coaching. They except the same from their coaches and I can attest to that. They put me through many long months of training to become a coach there all while holding me to the highest standard and expectation. Their criticism was never negative or ill-willed but instead it was constructive and well meaning because they cared not just about their members but also that I would grow into my own fullest potential as a coach and athlete. Point blank, Rosie and Javier are world class instructors/owners. Because of them, I am now a coach at a different box here in MA and still frequent S2F on my regular visits down to NJ where my family resides. This is a great gym. I have been going here for about a year and a half and there are so many parts that I enjoy about it. The difficulty is scaled so that any fitness level can have a good workout. Submit2Fitness is not just a place to work out and get strong, it's also a family. I have been physically active and worked out all my life - from soccer to dance to yoga to running, but I can honestly say that I have never felt stronger. The S2F staff always make you feel motivated to come back and give it your best. I have never felt so eager to work out and that's due to the high-energy and supportive environment that is provided by both staff and members. You will never feel discouraged, intimidated or embarrassed, no matter what level of fitness you're at. The trainers are always available to guide you and make sure you get the most out of your workout. Don't expect this to be a fancy high-end gym, but do expect challenging workouts that offer results, if you're willing to put the time and effort into it. Great place to train, work out, and make new friends. Trainers and coaches motivate you and make you push hard. You go at your own pace, and the Trainers and coaches' schedule are flexible.
