Walters Jujitsu is a fun and welcoming place to learn jujitsu, with an environment that makes everyone feel comfortable from day one. I’ve recommended it to multiple friends and genuinely look forward to every session I’m able to attend. The instructors are some of the best in the area and do an outstanding job of teaching while keeping training enjoyable and motivating.

I was in town and looking for a gym to drop in for a night of good training. I ended up choosing Walters Jiu Jitsu because of how close it was to my hotel and all the great reviews. The website made it really easy to view the schedule and class structure. The techniques that Nick showed were broken down well, and it was clear he cares that everybody there has their game leveled up. Overall great instruction, and everyone at the gym was super friendly and welcoming. Also, the facility is really nice w/ big mat space and locker rooms w/showers & sauna. Safe to say that Walters is going to be my go-to drop in spot in New Bern!

Dropped in for a class. Super welcoming, rolled with multiple different belt levels. Clean and spacious facilities with multiple showers and a locker room. Highly recommend for anyone stationed in Cherry Point.
