He has assembled a talented team of subcontractors who were professional, respectful of our home, and consistently produced high-quality work.As with any major renovation, a few challenges arose, including discrepancies between the architectural plans and the actual space, as well as delays in material availability. Nick and his team handled each issue professionally, worked with us to find solutions, and never pressured us to compromise on our choices.Harry was also a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail and pride in his craft were evident throughout, and the custom work he completed turned out beautifully. One of the most stressful things as a homeowner is picking the right contractor. We met with a bunch of companies and individuals, gathering quotes and ideas for our basement project. Nick was the only company that came in at our budget without sacrificing quality or finishes. We were excited and also nervous…we met with some of his past clients before making a final decision to go with N & R. His previous clients raved about him and his work really stood out. Throughout our project Nick and Harry were always on top of any and every detail…heck at one point we were discussing the tile back splash layout and Nick made a suggestion to change the pattern and the results are wonderful. We chose the wrong paint color (our mistake) Nick said, no big deal, find the right color and we will repaint it. We had an additional charge as expected (very reasonable I might add) but it didn’t interrupt the timeline at all. They made it work. As we came close to finishing we had a few minor details to touch up or finish and even after the last check was written Nick answered, he or Harry showed up to finish the last small things…our basement is perfect. I can’t say enough about these guys…highly recommended…best around…no doubt.

N&R Finishes was an amazing company to work with. Nick and his team were kind, respectful and clean. They did amazing work and we love how our basement turned out. When we had a hiccup or challenge, they were right there to fix it and work with us to make sure we got the best product.The guys that worked on all parts of the refinishing cleaned up every time and were great at communicating with us. ETA: Nick swooped in and saved us! We had a water leak earlier this year and after waiting and waiting (months) for the rebuild, I reached out to Nick. N&R Finishes renovated our basement in 2024/25. We were so impressed with the fair price and good work that Nick and his crew did on our basement remodel that we hired Nick again this year to install LVP flooring in our two mainfloor spare bedrooms. Once again, Nick offered a fair price and his crew did an exceptional job removing and discarding the old carpet, installing the new flooring, and painting the trim. We decided to have his crew repaint one of the bedrooms, too. Nick had told us the work could take 3-5 days and, in fact, they finished the job inside of 3 days. Nick knows how to get the job done. He communicates very well and we find it is a pleasure doing business with him.We very highly recommend N & R Finishes for your home remodeling projects.
