He answered all my annoying questions and gave me very helpful advice when I needed it. His whole crew were very respectful and kept me included during every step. He made last minute changes for me and didn’t bat an eye when I wanted to make a change. They did such a beautiful job that I just sat in our basement for hours staring at all the beautiful details. Nick and his team at N&R Finishes are AMAZING!!!! We hired him to finish our 700sqft. basement and WOW he went above and beyond from start to finish. He helped us draft a design, made suggestions when we were in need of ideas and personally oversaw every step of the project from design, permitting, delivery of materials and all the sub-contractors from outside of N&R Finishes (i.e. HVAC, electrical) - we could not have asked for a better experience and we are in LOVE with our new basement!! His team went above and beyond and the quality of work and attention to detail is better than I could have hoped for. Even the building and electrical inspectors made a point to tell us how well everything was being done and that they don’t often see work that goes that far above county code requirements. Nick is fair in his pricing and by far the most transparent. His estimate was the only one out of the four I got that didn’t have any hidden costs. He even included a lot of things that other contractors considered “upgrades” and would have charged me extra for. He was very easy to communicate with, prompt in responding to texts/calls/emails and was really helpful in picking out finishes and giving honest advice on things to do or not do :) Another thing about Nick that I personally think is worth noting is that every member of his team and all the sub-contractors he sent over expressed how much they liked working for him and/or with him. That speaks to his character, the way he treats his employees and runs his business. Every member of his team was respectful of me and my home and I felt completely comfortable having them here, even when I wasn’t. I can honestly say that from this point on I wouldn’t hire anyone other than Nick and N&R Finishes to do renovation work in my home and already have plans to bring them back to redo all my flooring and renovate my master bath. Shout out to Salvador who did an amazing job with the framing and overseeing some of the other aspects of the project, Darrell from Bird Dog Electric who did an awesome job with all our electrical work and Chris with Optimum Glass who hooked us up with a gorgeous shower door! Nick and his team are amazing! By far the easiest contractor to work with in our experience over the years. I always trusted that with Nick, everything would turn out exactly as I wanted. He really cares and goes above and beyond, fixing little details I didn’t even notice etc. What really set him apart is he knows how to get you the best use of your space. We met with five other contractors and he was the only one who was able to get us the totally open floor plan that we wanted, and he was also very reasonably priced…Which you would never know based on the quality of the work! Our kids had a very non functional bathroom from the 90s, which was cramped and looked very dated. Nick helped us design a dream bathroom for the kids, that is a lot more functional now. The kids love it! This is our 2nd project with Nick and we love working with his team. Less

We had been following N&R Finishes for a while and loved all the projects done by the company. We reached out to Nick in February and he was great to work with on coming up with a design that worked for us and fit our budget. We are absolutely thrilled with the final outcome. Everything looks better than we imagined it would be. As this was our first remodeling project, there was a lot of learning on our part and Nick and his team were patient and redid some parts where we were not happy with the initial picks we had made (tiles in the shower niche). Also, as the project went along we decided to make some changes (lvp floors instead of carpet) and Nick handled everything. Nick's crew were also great and treated our home with care. The project was completed within a week of Nick's initial estimate and within budget. Any increases to the costs were because of our design changes as the project was underway. We loved the fact that Nick was the only remodeling company that provided us with a 3d rendering of the design when we were discussing plans. Every other company seemed to provide us a design that was hand drawn or made in paint, this probably was the biggest reason we went with Nick, as it felt like he knew what he was doing and made his company stand out. We liked N&R finishes so much, that we have already started a 2nd project with them for remodeling the kids 90s bathroom! Less

Nick has an amazing basement finishing business. Everything from start to finish was done quickly, accurately, and with great detail. The initial design layout was created, I changed a few things after new ideas came to mine after seeing how it could look, and the design was edited to my liking. Timing estimate was 8-12 weeks I believe and it was completely finished in 9 weeks. The details are impressive and the quality is amazing. I am very picky and never noticed one thing that needed to be corrected to be up to my standards. Cost was exactly what was agreed upon, I made a handful of changes along the way and an updated estimate was sent to me virtually instantly of when I requested it, also allowed me to turn down some more expensive ideas I had. Nick gives you a list of items you need to pick out, he has no show room which I liked so I could shop around for things like the bathroom vanity, fixtures, and tile and was given an allowance of what was 'included' in my estimate. I assume anything over that would be extra but it was generous enough to get us everything we wanted. Paint was whatever color we wanted from Sherwin Williams. Every detail I wanted was accommodated for; stair wall removed with rod iron balusters with stained handrail, rough in's for wet bar I will finish when I have more money (Nick even offered to do this down the road when I was ready), outlet changes and lighting placement. All the workers came and went through the egress window, minus the carpet people. I didnt know sheetrock could fit through that window. There was a dumpster and porter potty in front of our house for the same reason of minimal interruption to us in the house. I went with Nick because of the price, he was $10K+ cheaper than the larger basement finishing business, and I have zero regrets and am extremely glad with the decision I made. My basement is impressive and I am proud of it. Less
