We couldn’t be happier with our basement remodel! Nick took our completely unfinished basement and turned it into a beautiful living room, 3/4 bathroom, and bedroom. We honestly couldn’t believe the transformation!They were able to get everything done quickly, and the quality of the work was amazing. Every trade that came into our home was professional, friendly, and did an incredible job. It made the whole process so much easier knowing we had great people working on every part of the project.Nick and Harry were wonderful to work with from beginning to end. They were reliable, easy to communicate with, and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. We are so happy with how everything turned out!We’ve already recommended them to friends and will absolutely continue to recommend them. We hired N&R Finishes after hearing strong recommendations from several neighbors, and we’re very glad we did. Their price was reasonable and competitive, and our finished basement looks fantastic.Nick was responsive, straightforward, and easy to work with from start to finish. He has assembled a talented team of subcontractors who were professional, respectful of our home, and consistently produced high-quality work.As with any major renovation, a few challenges arose, including discrepancies between the architectural plans and the actual space, as well as delays in material availability. One of the most stressful things as a homeowner is picking the right contractor. We met with a bunch of companies and individuals, gathering quotes and ideas for our basement project. Nick was the only company that came in at our budget without sacrificing quality or finishes. We were excited and also nervous…we met with some of his past clients before making a final decision to go with N & R. His previous clients raved about him and his work really stood out. Throughout our project Nick and Harry were always on top of any and every detail…heck at one point we were discussing the tile back splash layout and Nick made a suggestion to change the pattern and the results are wonderful. We chose the wrong paint color (our mistake) Nick said, no big deal, find the right color and we will repaint it. We had an additional charge as expected (very reasonable I might add) but it didn’t interrupt the timeline at all. They made it work. As we came close to finishing we had a few minor details to touch up or finish and even after the last check was written Nick answered, he or Harry showed up to finish the last small things…our basement is perfect. I can’t say enough about these guys…highly recommended…best around…no doubt.

N&R Finishes was an amazing company to work with. Nick and his team were kind, respectful and clean. They did amazing work and we love how our basement turned out. When we had a hiccup or challenge, they were right there to fix it and work with us to make sure we got the best product.The guys that worked on all parts of the refinishing cleaned up every time and were great at communicating with us. ETA: Nick swooped in and saved us! We had a water leak earlier this year and after waiting and waiting (months) for the rebuild, I reached out to Nick.
