First time and won’t be the last! Had a large group for a birthday party and had a fun time throwing axes at target, zombies, bejeweled and tic tac toe! The owner was great and made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend!

This place was fantastic. Great staff, innovative games. Night club kind of atmosphere with axes...just awesome. We were there on a random Thursday at 6 and we were one of two other groups in there and had an absolute blast. I'm looking forward to go back on a weekend night when it's packed. Imagine cosmic bowling, top golf and axe throwing had a baby...that's Smack My Axe!!!

Before you stands the wooden wall, plain and unremarkable when the projector slumbers. But activate it, and a plethora of games await. And let me tell you the astonishing part! The success of this gamified wonderland lies in the hands of the "score keeper." No fancy contraptions or sensors here, my friend! The system projects images onto the target area, and the score keeper wields a lowly mouse pointer to mark where your axe lands. If they err, fear not! A simple click of "undo" fixes it. During my visit, I played games like "Hit the Target" with changing target areas, gem-crushing, Zombie, Tic Tac Toe, Connect Four, and more variations. Usually, my attention wanes quickly in such places. But within Smack My Axe, I was reluctant to leave. I spent a good three or four hours enchanted by its allure! Yet it's not just axe throwing that makes this place marvelous. The staff is exceptional too. While similar to others, their dedication to helping people succeed sets them apart. Picture this: A couple of struggling souls in our group couldn't make their axes stick. A sympathetic staff member took them to an empty lane for extra practice and even invited them to use it for training. They held delightful contests like "first bullseye wins a free drink." Watching their team in action struck a chord within me. I confess, I love axe throwing. No, correction! I adore Smack My Axe! As an enthusiast of innovation, I salute this extraordinary establishment. And let's not forget value, dear friends. If you're contemplating axe throwing, cease your review reading! This is such a unique experience. I've been there a couple of times, and have it on the books to go again. I always bring several of my friends. We have a lot of laughs and fun together. Aaron, Lee, Ruby, and Dustin make sure your experience is like no other!

Went to Smack my Axe on 5/20/23 with a group. Dustin met us and made sure all of us were comfortable and gave us tutorials on how to throw. All of us had a blast! Will definitely return!!!

Never experienced anything like it. The atmosphere is superb. Reminds me of a 90s retro arcade. Dustin knows his stuff. I have a tendency to let the axe swing backwards towards me instead of forward to the intended destination. Work in progress. I’ll be back.
