So glad I just read another review from 6 hours ago about the front desk lady being rude by someone named chase. We also had the same experience with the front desk person. I show up by myself ahead of my party of 3. I explain this to her and that my other two made the reservation, and I asked if there was anything I needed to do. She proceeds to tell me i’ll have to wait for them. I say okay. She then asks the party name I say my brothers name. They get there, then she demands my brother use another machine to register in a really rude tone. He’s like “what the hell is her problem?” then he signs it. She asks him his name, says no that’s me, then she says to me “you told me you were (my brothers name)” I said “no you asked me the reservation name, and also you didn’t tell me I had to register. She just didn’t respond all three of us walked away like “well what was that? she was so rude?” If you want to have a good time, take your money elsewhere. Less

After 2 very frustrating sessions the staff was very unfriendly and escalated situations. They are not the best birthday place to race so keep that in mind. One of my worst birthdays to date. Definitely won't spend another one here

The first time I brought my nephew to this place. It was a bad experience. My nephew drove for the first time. He hit the guardrail within 10 seconds and was kicked out. Then I went to their manager to see if he could try again. Their policy does not allow it. They talked for a long time. The solution was that we pay again and we will not come back to this place again.

Talk about the ultimate in go-karting and overall a great time out. They recently installed these simulators with iRacing installed across 4 setups. Couldn’t recommend more to anyone looking to try out sim racing!

"Workers" are rude to anyone who happens to not be a semi pro, you know, like kids having a birthday outing. You'd think they would be more supportive.

Just before we were entering the race track, we were informed that we were only allowed to race seven at a time. I Spoke with manager who claimed he could do nothing about it and offered to call the owner. I then spoke with the owner, who offered a refund. Since we were from so far away, I suggested that they offer us a couple free races each and that would satisfy me. The owner then spoke on the phone with the manager for several minutes. While this was happening, one employee began to insult and berate my group calling us cheap. He also stated that his shirt was worth more than my life. At this point, some of the party had left due to the employee’s behavior towards them. When the manager got off the phone with the owner, he offered me a free race for 5 of the 13 in our party. I told him I’ll just take a refund and he refused to refund my money, stating “dispute the charge with your credit card company”. I will never return to this business. And from the looks of it, it’s dying out because we were the only party there at the time during peak hours. I highly recommend avoiding this business. Less

Pretty nice place have been here twice but I think I was overcharged the second time. Was told I had a reservation on the phone but when I got there I was told I did not. I think somebody owes me money.

Took the grandsons and a great time was had by all. I have seen some bad reviews regarding the staff here, but our experience was great. All staff were courteous and helpful on our first visit and checked that we were having a good time. It was a bit pricey, but since we all had a great time, it was worth it.

The experienced and safety conscious team at Buckeye Raceway made it very easy and seamless for a company outing! What an amazing way to race FAST relatively SAFE and most importantly Reasonably Priced!! One negative is the seats are hard plastic so if you are like me and lack the extra padding we all carry on our backside…after many races back to back I definitely felt it!!!

Just go try it once. It's fun for all ages. Give it a try at least once.

Come to find out it was the front desk lady’s boyfriend. When we had told her, her boyfriend nearly hit 3 of us because he was being arrogant to which SHE CHUCKLED then talked about how he thinks he has a fast car and can do anything including drifting… EXCUSE ME that accord is a front wheel and NOT even a v6. I really hope this gets discussed so no other family or party’s get hurt. I say that because not only could he have hurt us, but also because majority of us carry and jumping to avoid being hit could be taken as a threat. Lastly, We were a party of 11, 8/9 spots are available total for the track… Each time they only took us in 6-8’s. Meanwhile their employee was sent out 3/4 races not only taking one of the slots that could’ve been filled with us but with no limits to their cart but to ours we had limits. Their employee that was sent out on the track had purposely hit and and blocked us players. This was for a birthday and they knew it too yet they didn’t care or show any compassion. We payed over $300, we’re a racing family from dirt bikes, to cars so we know the challenges but this was just unfair for my little brothers birthday. I truly hope the owner recites his staff. Less

I’ve been going here since they opened and it’s only gone down hill since day 1… tonight I was racing and while next to another car they cut across for a turn and basically made me push them around… they put my car on junior speed for 3 slow laps from an 8 minute race… I didn’t do anything on purpose and I let off the gas. When I left they proceeded to accuse me of stealing one of their helmets when I brought my own… I told them didn’t steal anything and to sod off and the entire crew of 7-10 people stormed outside yelling slurs with two of them trying to fight me and calling me the N word… im white for one and he wasn’t… our car was near back of the lot and they got within 6 feet or less of the car after I was already trying to leave… not to mention that they had another group racing or waiting to start their race while they cussed me out in the parking lot… the counter girl was rude from the start because I already had two races on my account and didn’t want to buy more. I would highly advise going elsewhere… K1 Speed will be open in the area soon enough and there’s other places… I wouldn’t have even posted about this if it weren’t for the whole crew storming out to our car trying to fight me over it after I already left… I can’t say I’d be sad if they had to close after this experience… spend your money elsewhere Less

This was our first time bringing the boys here, and it won't be our last! The carts are fast, and the track is challenging.

The place was very unorganized, and the workers were very rude to not only my group but other groups around us. After waiting 30-40 minutes we were told it would be 2 more hours when there was less than 25 people in the building. Would not recommend this place.

The go kart aspect was fun for my teen children. The place was a bit warm down with out of date arcade games which some needed work. Staff was Very unprofessional, they were arguing amongst each other across the floor which made it a bit cringe. Hope they get it together.

Great place for karting but they double charged my card and I still have not received a refund on my money. It has been 4 months.. terrible customer service

Friendly staff, course is decent but the condition of the carts are hit and miss if you do multiple races (tires, some are tighter/looser, last cart sounded like the wheel bearings were roasted) difficult to try and work on lap times with that if you’re trying to be competitive.

So we go play games and watch races building excitement and anticipation for my son, it being his first time. 6:30 finally comes and we go to the briefing area. The race that was going ends. He tells the drivers "you guys will be going right back out" so I'm confused but still waiting. That race ends and a junior race goes. Then the adults come back and they race again. Now it's 7p and I go ask the attendant why we haven't been called. He says I'd have to ask the cashier. I go speak to the cashier who is signing someone up for the very next race. He finally looks up and decided to see why I'm standing there and I ask why we've been there since 4 and haven't raced yet. He said "online reservations are bumping us" how can a online reservation bump someone who's standing there and already paid. So not risking getting bumped from the 7:30p slot and completely losing my mind I asked to be refunded the $54 I paid. I was told he couldn't refund $12 of it because it was a "membership fee" bruh I don't want a membership to this place what good does it do me? So no. Terrible service. You online book a race and wait hours before you even get to race. Walk ins were called before us. Customer service isn’t customer services! Rude when you ask questions! Don’t come here if you don’t have all day to wait for your name to possibly be called!!!! Never coming here again!!!

The service was not good, we waited 40 mins after our reserved time slot, the staff were not helpful at all. And from the second lap they reduced my speed without any warning.

A group of us went over the weekend and most of us got sick! Like a cold sick! They barely disinfect the helmets with spray. Which I guess is procedure but it’s just not enough. We recommend an open face helmet because they’re all closed. All you do is breathe in other people germs because the helmets are not sanitized correctly and have no vents. I feel like poo! Thanks…

We waited for 2 hours to get to our race and then they delayed it by 20 minutes again. Immediately after our race someone crashed into the barriers and before any crew members hit the emergency stop, they just flooded the course and one crew member almost got hit by a driver at full speed. The staff needs way more training for their safety AND ours. (Edit) added an extra star for the young lady that was part of the crew helping racers get ready. She seemed like one of the only staff members that wanted to be there and was very nice to our entire party. Less

So these electric carts are zippy. Bonus of electric indoors? No exhaust smell! Downside of electric karts? None of that awesome small motor scent that says “I’ve been racin!” Great course, very Formula One, good passing zone opportunities, and if you follow the suggested line you might make it into the top 100!! They have a junior option with slower karts for those nervous or just starting out.... More

Driving is fun but I was stuck behind a really slow guy for half the race and they didn’t flag him. The guy in the middle of the track was looking at the floor not paying attention.

Brought my 11 year old daughters here to have some fun and they love it. The check in process is easy and understanding the prices was easy. Asked they laby if I should get 2 races and she said come back after the first race. Glad she mentioned that cause the girls were tired and wouldn't be able to do a second race. Horrible Experience. EXTREMELY rude lady who wouldn’t let me talk and was showing attitude. Worst experience.

I have came to buckeye raceway numerous times. It is a perfect place to bring your friends, family, and young adults! Go karts are amazing and go 45 mph. Axe throwing has been always been the perfect date idea for us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Had a horrible customer service, the lady was Extremely RUDE it’s like she didn’t want us there. She is very disrespectful and if you try to defend your self against her she will remind you that “SHE OWNS THE BUILDING” . Horrible lady I hope she gets fired from here.

Had a terrific work team event here last night with 8 coworkers. For the racing experience with friends, and we had not done this before, what a good time. All electric, no fumes or smells. The support team watches over you well. Exhilarating, safe, lots of laughs.

Best Go Karts I've ever rode. They are so much fun. We will keep going back. Price is a little up there, but I keep paying it, sooooo. It's worth it, I guess.

Had a great experience! All of the staff were friendly, the environment was chill, and the track was fun. I highly recommend getting the 3 race pack, you can use all 3 or save and use within a 1yr of purchase. After the race don't forget to grab the print out of your stats!

Races are around 6 minutes and can go up to 40mph. Steering is a little hard. Overall, still fun

I recommend going to their website prior to driving there as it is up to date and outlines everything for you! I would say at $21 a race you definitely want to see if it's right for you prior to committing to a 3 race package - 10% discount for that option. I am sitting here this morning after hosting my depot Christmas party at Buckeye Raceway more than happy that I chose Buckeye Raceway as the location for our party. We had 34 employees and their family's show up. Hanna, Jeremy and team did a Great job handling the chaos that we brought in. The party room was just the right size to handle everyone. My whole Team was grinning ear to ear when they saw the gokarts take off for the first time. They could not believe how fast the karts go. I can't think of a negative thing that happened last night. The team is still arguing about who was the fastest! This was a great time and handled by a professional team! I would recommend this location to anyone for any sort of team meetings! Less

Our employee that dealt with us was unnecessarily harsh and strict seeming like he was trying to prevent us from racing because we didn’t have parents with us even though we were all teenagers. It took forever to go through a process of signing waivers and emailing and whatnot, eventually I put him on the phone with my mother who didn’t want to send her DRIVERS LICENSE very reasonably as that’s asking for identity theft and he acted very rude to her and then tried to give me a look like he was sorry for my “crazy” mother. By then we were done. It was a terrible experience. I wouldn’t necessarily not recommend it as it was all due to one bad employee, but still I would approach with caution. Less

Great as far as indoir tracks go, but have an archaic system where if someone buy multiple races, they get all their races before anyone else can get their's. Prepare to be there hours to get your turn to race. Not a great experience for entertainment, just for die hard carters.
