Loyd Have Mercy is a wonderful local restaurant. My wife and I went there yesterday and had an excellent supper with superior service. The food arrived hot and was perfectly seasoned. We have been there many times before and will be sure to go again soon. We highly recommend Loyd Have Mercy!

Decided to try this restaurant based on reviews and so glad we did. All 4 of us were extremely happy with our choices and want to go back to try more options. I loved my blackened grouper, carrot souffle and collard greens. Our sister in low tried mine and wants to go back for the grouper. My husband had the BBQ meatloaf and his brother had the traditional meatloaf. Vee was an attentive server with flair.

I have been looking for a great soul food restaurant for a long time and found it here. Started off the meal with fried chicken gizzards, which were prepared oh so right and tasted delicious. I had a fish sandwich which was quite good, other members of the party had a pork chop which came served on a bed of grits and collards and came covered in mushroom gravy, fried chicken livers and mac and cheese all of which were very tasty and prepared extremely well. Another party member has celiacs and got a tasty bun-free burger. We finished the meal with very yummy. Peach cobbler and key lime pie and washed everything down with dang good iced tea. I grew up in the south eating food like this and really good soul food is hard to find. This place is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at and of you like good food you’ll love this place to.
