I became aware that the vent hose on my dryer was ripped very close to where it attached to the opening to the outside of my house. Because that opening is right behind my washer, I really don’t have vents to clean, but I saw an ad for Dryer Vent Superheroes on NextDoor, so I just thought I’d contact them to see if they did repairs in addition to cleaning vents. Drew responded almost immediately to my inquiry. In about 10 minutes, I had an appointment set up for two days later.I received reminder texts so I was confident this would not be a “no show” service visit. Andrew called me about 90 minutes before my appointment time and said he had just completed his first appointment and wondered if he could come early. I assured him that was fine, and he showed up about 30 minutes later. After evaluating the situation, he explained that the washer and dryer were too close to the wall which was why the old vent hose had ripped. Placement of the appliances was also discussed. In the end, it was decided a longer vent hose was the best solution. The new hose was quickly installed and the washer and dryer put back where they needed to be. The bill was presented. I paid, and Andrew had completed his task.I am very happy with how soon they responded to my problem, with the efficiency of Andrew and the quality of his work, and the cost of the repair.
