My project was extremely complex, with knee walls, false attics, and impossible to reach areas. Insulation Police were the only company willing and able to take it on when others wouldn’t. Cellulose proved to be the only viable retrofit solution—better performing than fiberglass in R-value and air sealing—and delivered excellent acoustic results. I was so impressed I added soundproofing to the scope. Overall, I’m very satisfied: superior performance, cost-effective, and I learned a lot along the way. Recently required an upgrade on my insulation. Called The Insulation Police company and was very impressed. Not only did Greg communicate with me several times to ensure date and timing but his crew, Bruce and Chris arrived on time, explained the process and kept me informed throughout the process. Despite the heat they kept up a steady pace and when done, they tidied up everything, even vacuuming around the attic access. I would highly recommend The Insulation Police company for anyone needing insulation issues. If I could give more stars I would.

We live in the townhouse in stony Plain, AB. Our unit was built in 1993, well insulated except the under the floor on one room. the room sits on the space top of bare concrete. The insulation failed the home energy inspection because it wasn’t installed to code. Now I have to pay someone else to redo the entire job. This contractor clearly cut corners and didn’t care about doing it right the first time.

After their crew finished insulating my walls, I found several areas where they had broken drywall and carelessly shoved materials in. They didn’t even clean up the mess. I had to hire another company to fix their damage. Avoid at all costs.

I hired this insulation contractor for attic insulation, and it was a disaster. The crew rushed the job, left a mess behind, and didn’t properly seal around vents. When I called about the issues, they never came back to fix anything. Total lack of accountability.

The Insulation Police team showed up at 8:30 am and were done by 2:00 pm. They added cellulose insulation in the regular ceiling/roof area. They also accessed the house addition by cutting through the covered up original roof area and laid down cellulose insulation in this difficult to access region (because the addition was doubly arched). Now we have 50 R-factor throughout our ceiling/roof. Cleaned up throughly when finished. We are very satisfied.

Older bungalow, with minimal (maybe R10) original insulation in the attic. Greg and his crew did a fantastic job of bringing it to additional R40 of blown cellulose. Installed proper air dams to maintain the airflow from the vents. They did a good cleanup afterwards as well. Greg is excellent at communication, I knew exactly what to expect price was fair and in only few day can see the difference in how less often the furnace is coming on. Really happy with their work.
