Attended one event in Edmonton and then 3 weeks later COVID lock down hit. I have followed FB and receive monthly emails. I have been wishing and wishing for the Edmonton chapter to start up again. August 7 is the 1st meet up in Edmonton since COVID. So EXCITED Edmonton has Fabulous 50 again!!

I enjoy our weekly zoom time, and the events that I've attended have been amazing. I'm new to Calgary and a bit of an introvert, so this has given me an opportunity to connect with women my age without feeling too overwhelmed.

Fabulous at 50 is a wonderful community of like minded women who are looking to make the most out of life. I have enjoyed being part of the audience at motivational events and also having the opportunity to share my music and my 'late bloomer' life strategy. Community is at the heart of Fabulous at 50 and shared experience is a wonderful motivation for taking chances and moving forward with enthusiasm. I loved the opportunity to share the history of The Famous 5 and the winning of the Persons Case using my songs and protest signs! Thank you Fabulous @ 50 for all you contribute!!

There are so many things I love about this community. A sense of connection, and conversations with amazing women that cover an incredibly diverse range of topics. If you want to know more about something, Joanne will find a way to dig deeper, and invite SME's to talk about it. There are serious topics, fun topics, topics that get us moving, and topics that make us relax. There are social events and so much more. You will feel like you're part of a family. We lift one another up by sharing our successes, and provide support when we struggle. What an amazing group of women!
