I had this company quote a standard master bathroom remodel (relocating a toilet, adding dual sinks, capping a tub, and installing shower mixers). They handed me an estimate for over $20,000 for what is, at maximum, two days of work and what their quite included. 12 to 17 hrs at over $1300 per hour. To break that down further, they wanted $5,000 just for the final fixture trim installs, which is a five hour job at most. ​I immediately got a second opinion and hired a highly rated local plumber who executed the exact same scope of work for $6,000 using premium materials (with all crimped copper plumbing and installation a 20 yr ecperience master plumber). ​A $14,000 price difference is not a standard variance in labor rates; it is a predatory business model! They throw out wildly inflated bids hoping you will not do your research. Do yourself a favor and get another quote before signing anything with this company. Overpriced is an understatement Consumers need to be warned when a company attempts to charge over $23,000 for two days of standard residential plumbing with less that $532 in basic supplies snd materials.

$1200 to replace a water seal on a leaky pipe. workers charged $600 up front and assured me they'd turn off the water themselves. after calling the village to help them because they were unable to shut off the water themselves on a Friday .Monday they returned and fixed the seal for another $600. $1200 for a simple fix.

Quoted $1140 to replace a blown water spigot. That's $50 in parts and 1.5-2hr of labor in the quote. Absolutely insane. I did not proceed. Instead, watched YouTube and fixed it myself in an hour and I'm sure an experienced plumber could've done it in 30min. That means they tried to charge me $1000/hr. Makes me angry for people that just don't know any better. This company should be ashamed of itself.
