Heritage Ranch, Sports Hall of Fame and the surrounding parking lot is the starting place for my favorite walk into Red Deer. There are a few variations you can take to suit your fancy. It's always a rewarding walk.

The new menu is ridiculous. It's really expensive, and is supposed to be family style/ shared. We paid 40.00 for one piece of chicken to share. We ordered the smashed potatoes to go with, but they were delivered 15 minutes before our chicken. Our chicken was overdone as well. There was little, to no variety. I liked the old menu. We'll never go back.

We love horses but trail ride was very basic and needs some grooming definitely not our best experience however staff was great just would have expected more for price and a better groomed trail (branches hitting in face for tall people and scratching up arms etc) very slow ride

Wow..awesome trails...beautiful scenery and the walking trail nearby Alberta hall of fame is about 20 mins and ends with 158 steps..it's great,even a pond to fish for trout,I believe. Must check it out,worth it.

Great place to explore and play. Doesn’t matter the season there is a lot to do from cross country skiing tracks, to biking and walking paths, parks and so much more. NOT impressed! Our family was looking forward to a beautiful sleigh ride Christmas Eve , BUT Heritage Ranch cancelled our ride because they said they double booked us??? Huh?? Wonderful place, great trails

I go to the ranch every year. They have horse back riding and a great restaurant. There are many trails you can mountain bike on or just got nature exploring. It is located by the Reddeer river as well. On hot days you can float down the river.

Good mix of cocktails and drinks. Good food. Friendly staff. Great outdoor patio in the weather months which is dog friendly!

Rachael and the other members of the bartending team kept the party going. I feel like a have known them for a lifetime. When I asked what I had to do prior to the end of the night they took care of it all. They made special arrangements to have the ponies stay late for our guests and our kids. We celebrated out 7th anniversary there today. First time there as well. The burger was amazing!!! Waitress always came around making sure we were taken care of. On a scale I give it a 10 out of 10!! Highly recommend this wonderful gem. We will definitely be coming back soon.😀 Thanks for making our anniversary special. 😀

This is a great place to stop with a toddler when traveling on Highway 2. Nice play ground, horses, clean, washroom facilities. What more could you need!

Do not take the kids on pony rides here. Complete rip off! I took two, one got a ride around the paddock three times, the second only two times. For both kids, it was over in ten minutes for a cost of $25!!!! The girl leading them around could have cared less about her job or the kids having fun. Spend your money anywhere but here!!!

Take my kids there for pony rides, and Montana is so amazing!! She makes the kids have such an awesome experience with the horses and she is so interactive with the kids!!
