I HAVE NEW KNEES! At 72 I dreaded when everyone talked about my needing new knees. I had friends and relatives who had the surgery done and the pain and the recovery seemed daunting. It was my daughter who discovered PRP because she was looking for relief from the headaches and down hill spiral from a rare leakage of her spinal fluid. She suggested I see Dr. Mora for my general health and in particular my knees. Deciding between surgery and a few painless shots was hardly a difficult choice. After two of the three shots I am amazed and relieved at how simple and painless the procedure is. What I like most about all this is that my own blood platelets are being put back into my knees to not only to help recover them but to actually rebuild my tissue. After the first set of shots (one per knee) I immediately felt a difference. Instead of needing help help getting out of a chair (especially if sitting a while) or out of a car, I have been able to get up and move around like a normal person again ... no pain or assistance. I have one more set of shots and I will be done and I am already incredibly happy!!! Stay tuned as I am told that the last shot and a few months later, will make my 72 year old legs seem like they haven't felt in years. I'll write a second review after it's all done .... Less
