We needed storage for our basement items while having work done. I called and a UNIT was delivered the next day. The delivery driver put the UNIT exactly where we needed it. We had to keep it longer than originally anticipated, I called and there was no issue with it staying. When the work was done and we were ready for the UNIT to be picked up, I made a call and it was gone the following day. Will definitely use again.

I ordered two UNITS to help us move locally between two houses. The storage units were timely delivered and expertly placed using a special crawler machine that allowed the boxes to be placed in our driveway precisely where we needed them. The units were well-sized, clean, and able to secured with some locks I already had. They were rock solid and we were able to get the majority of our belongings packed up into the two boxes, which made moving MUCH easier. When we were ready, they moved the units directly from one house to the other. They were very reasonably priced and the customer service was fantastic. We would certainly use UNITS again for this type of service and we highly recommend them.

Morgan was wonderful to work with, made the whole move very easy! Brett is a master with the units. Very glad Crocker moving services recommended them to us!

I had a great experience with Units of Birmingham. We had to store our furniture while construction on our house was done. They were on time with bringing the containers for loading and unloading.I would definitely recommend Units over Pods, having now used both. There is no comparison between the construction of the containers, and we were pleased with the condition of our belongings after a 14 month storage.

I can’t recommend them enough for any of your storage needs & they will most certainly be my first call next time I’m needing this type of service. Extra props to Morgan for being so kind & helpful.

Units Moving and Portable Storage is great! The people are nice. I’ve had my storage unit for over a year. It arrived clean and sturdy with no leaks or openings for critters to get inside. I have not had any issues and have been pleased with the service I have received. Highly recommend to anyone needing outside storage.

Family owned and operated. I recommend Tim & Units to all my customers. Whether you need temporary storage for renovations or long term storage look no further, this is the company for you. Their Units are clean and they have the best delivery system available with their Robo Unit.

These units are so much better than those used by PODS. Units Moving and Portable Storage uses storage units that are all metal, have more tie downs, and seals MUCH better. They also have a truck and delivery vehicle that can place it pretty much anywhere in your yard. Add that they're truly local and no call center when you call them and it's an easy decision.

We closed on our old house one week then closed on our new house a week later and UNITS was so flexible and great to work with. They gave me a quote to rent the unit and helped me make sure I got what I needed and for a great price! They delivered the unit on time and picked it back up and stored it for us in their climate controlled warehouse for the week. I was super shocked that all our stuff looked very minimally jostled durning the transportation of the unit. I could not recommend them more if you need to more or just store some things for a while! Best of all I loved getting to support a local company and our local economy!

What a great group to work with

They were on time getting us pods and was able to get me a lot in a 4 day period for large commercial move out we had. Couldn’t ask for a better company and team to handle our needs

For moving my own stuff for office and home I have used U-Haul and Pods. I preferred pods because they could drop off the container (not always exactly what I wanted it) and pick it up and use that as my storage also. But customer service wasn’t always the best. UNITS was able to get my container, exactly where I wanted it. And their customer service is ALWAYS there to help. They can do everything Pods can do but better!!

2025-03-05T20:28:36.010Z

Tim and his team have been phenomenal to work with and their containers are by far the best! We have used them at multiple job sites.

2025-03-05T19:31:59.846Z

Great folks. Like Pods, but better!

2025-03-05T19:26:14.974Z

The Blackmon’s and their employees are an excellent resource in the Portable storage and moving community and can tackle most any job needed!

UNITS containers is the best storage company that I have ever dealt with. They were on time with delivery and pick up, and they were a big part of making my moving and storage a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them.
