They did such an excellent job working the leather around all the padding. It fits PERFECTLY. I’m so happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone!!

Took my daughters wedding dress there and was not impressed. Seams were crooked and they took it in way too much and it was too tight. My daughter is a size 2 and they had plenty of material to work with. It shouldn’t have been so tight she couldn’t breathe when sitting down. They were very expensive as well

I’m incredibly disappointed. The seamstress initially told me that she could try to alter the bodice of my wedding dress to be how I wanted, but on my second fitting, was actively trying to talk me out of it. When I received back my dress, the only discernible difference was that the cups were bigger…but the interior corner of one cup can now be easily seen through the illusion mesh. I do not understand why she didn’t want to help me. I needed the waist taken in so the dress’s weight wouldn’t be on my shoulders all night. She told me the weight of the dress is supposed to be on my shoulders, and that I was wrong to think it was uncomfortable and heavy. The waist is indiscernible from before. She might have taken it in like an eighth of an inch, but I can see the place where it needs another button or hook—basically so that I have support where a bra would have a band. For $100/hour, shouldn’t a wedding dress tailor know how to make a wedding dress more supportive? I’ll have to take it to another tailor. Weddings are already so expensive, and the shoddy and incomplete work on my dress cost $350. She was adamant that we had a conversation about the bustle, but I know we didn’t because I know how much I’ll be dancing and there is no way I agreed that I would be okay holding my train the entire night. Then she told me that bustling my dress would be an additional $250. I feel horrible about how little I got and how much I spent. If they had done what I needed, I’d be happy to pay, but I feel like I paid $350 for them to hold on to my dress for a month and gaslight me about what I want. I said all of this in a private review that they prompted me to write in an email with the receipt, and they never reached out to me. They clearly care more about money than making customers happy. After the 10 minutes of pinning and a bustle I was not happy with, she told me how much it would be, showed me where to put my card and that was that. I felt incredibly pressured to use their services as my dress was put up in pins & I was bluntly told to put my card in for the deposit. As soon as I left, I knew that I could get the same services for 1/10 of the price and go to a tailor that would show me options rather than tell me what's to be done. My husband went back in to get a full refund 15 minutes after my consultation (no alterations had been started) and they refused to give us back a full refund. They charged us a $95 fitting fee which again had never been told to me at any point of the process. I would have never made this appointment if I knew there was this fee associated with it. I know for a fact people have come in and paid nothing and they are absolutely taking advantage of the fact that I put my card in. Charging their hourly rate for tops 10 minutes of pinning is also incredibly dishonest. If we are not issued a refund for the $95 directly, we will be disputing the charge as no services of alterations (the only aspect I was ever told would be $95/hour) were rendered. I saw their one star reviews stating very similar issues but decided to give them a chance and now I'm learning that that was an awful mistake. UPDATE: I've changed my 1 star review to 3 stars as the owner called immediately after my review was posted to resolve the issue. Due to some unexpected events I needed to get some minor alterations last minute. They were able to provide great quality serivces. Dropped off the suit pants at 11am, it was ready by 2pm, same day and it looked wonderful. great quality, fast response, friendly.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to share my experience at Only One Tailoring. I had my first dress fitting here with my mom and my grandmother. From the moment the wedding dress tailor walked in, we were not welcomed warmly at all. She did not introduce herself, and she immediately closed the curtain on me and said "put your dress on." with a straight face. This was the first time my mom and grandmother saw me in my wedding dress (I bought it alone), so I was excited to have this special moment. The tailor rushed the entire fitting, and acted like it was a burden to hear the very minimal alterations I needed - I don't think she smiled the entire fitting... she barely said anything other than "what's next" or "now what". Despite this, I was still thinking "it's okay, they must do really great work here based on all these positive reviews", so I put the attitude aside. Next comes the price. My dress is only 2 layers, and is a solid crepe material - no lace, no beading, etc. and all I needed were shoulder straps shortened (they're spaghetti straps), hem, add bustle, and change out the cups. The price we were quoted was $750-$800. We didn't know if that's just how high prices have gotten nowadays, so we decided to at least get one more quote to verify. When we told her that we were going to leave and that we weren't ready to commit to this price, she went back over to my dress, took out the safety pins, and threw them down onto her table. I think my mom's mouth almost hit the floor. The tailor didn't say one word, just threw all the pins down and bunched up my dress into its bag. Today, I went somewhere else and was quoted a range of $150-200 for the exact same work. That is a HUGE difference. I cannot believe how expensive Only One Tailoring is... if you can afford it then go for it. I'm sure they do great work, but you may have to deal with a negative tailor too during the fitting! Overall, I am very sad my first dress fitting didn't go as planned. My mom and grandmother still loved seeing me in my dress, but the moment was just taken over by the negative attitude of the tailor and insanely steep price point... I wish I remembered the name of the tailor, as I'm sure this one individual doesn't represent the entire business, but from my experience it did, and I would not recommend to go here. Less

Wonderful! I made an appointment online to have a pair of shorts hemmed because the original hem fell out. I arrived at my appointment time and the lady I spoke with took my shorts and hemmed them up right then while I waited a few minutes. Fabulous service! I will definitely be going to them again in the future.

i bought a suit from one of the MTM (made-to-measure) places online and took it here to get a professional opinion on the fit. aaron noted some changes, one of which was a little more involved and would require a remake to get right. i relayed aaron's recommendation for a remake to the company which resulted in a bunch of emails back and forth. obviously, the company pushed back on the remake, however, aaron was INCREDIBLE and advocated for the remake on my behalf. with his explanations and some additional pictures, the company agreed to a remake. now i have a suit i know has a terrific fit thanks to aaron! from my experience, a few things stood out: 1. aaron went above and beyond to advocate for me. he didn't have to do that. in fact, doing so meant he lost my alteration business because the company agreed to a remake. 2. impeccable attention to detail. i was oblivious to some of the alterations he suggested. i couldn't see what he did, but it shows how well he knows his craft. 3. based on what i was in there for, i'm sure aaron knew i wasn't going to be a high-paying customer. however, that didn't seem to matter. i got aaron's full attention and felt very well cared for. (FYI: this experience was almost three years ago. haha, sorry for the delay. i was recommending an online MTM place to a friend yesterday and remembered what a terrific experience i had here, so thought better late than never!) They were nice and said sure no problem, then when I got there the employees were rude and seemed irritated I was there. They were going to charge me $5 a patch and and then said I was going to be charged 30% more bc I was going to wait in the store for something that takes 20 minutes or less to do. Smh. Go some... After living in several different cities, I can tell you first hand that finding a good alteration's shop can be extremely hard. For example, I learned the hard way that going to a dry cleaner for alterations can be VERY hit or miss. Don't roll the dice! Only One does a fantastic job :) Less

The owner, Aaron, was kind enough to do this little job despite clearly being a busy man. While he was working on the repair we got to talking about what I did for work, if I wore suits often and where I bought them from. He fixed the seam in only a few minutes, while talking to me the whole time; it was extraordinary to watch his skill. When he was done, he measured me for a suit and went over the different options that were available for style and fabric; I couldn't believe how reasonably priced the suits in his C. McGill Made to Measure line were considering they were so custom made! I cannot say enough good things about this family run business. They truly go out of their way to make each customer feel like their #1 client. We got to see some of the other staff in action as well because unlike other places where they work in a back room, the folks at Only One were all right there, their skills on display and each piece they were working on more beautiful than the next. I brought my dress to get the straps altered. On the day of my pick up it wasn't even ready, they had TWO WEEKS to get it done!!! But apparently they said something was wrong with the computer that push my order back. So I was very kind and understanding to give them until closing time to finish it. I got it back and my straps was still the exact same length!!!

We have been using Only One Tailoring for years, and love them. They always do an amazing job! My husbands suits have never looked so good! They will continue to be our Only One.
