I broke my ankle in 3 places. The railings for the stairs to get into my house were no longer structurally sound enough and we needed a fix ASAP. Justin and Derek came out immediately, made great suggestions on how to reinforce the stair rails and had the job completed within hours on a very cold day. Courteous, professional and reasonable, we will definitely use their services again!

Update after more work done with JBK: Even more impressed! We had some dry wall holes left by plumbing, and JBK patched the dry wall and added much improved access panels. I was shocked when I got home from work - I had to confirm with my husband that we did indeed have a hole in our ceiling before I left for the day. See the attached before and after photos. We already have more work we want to call them for!Wow, we called JBK late on a Saturday, not expecting to hear from anyone until Monday morning, but we thought it would be worth the wait considering the great reviews. Imagine my surprise to see that Justin (I think the owner) called and texted to follow up on my call. We were so thrilled that he and his partner handyman were able to come first thing Monday morning - Justin followed up with my husband since I was at work, and they showed up precisely on time. Better communication and timing than every other contractor we have worked with!JBK helped us with a rather complex microwave install. Not only did the microwave require new drill holes, it needed to fit onto an uneven surface, AND it had to be drilled into existing tile. The team did it efficiently and beautifully. They didn’t crack a single tile (my husband could never), and they left the work area clean. My husband said they didn’t even put the microwave on top of our glass-top stove - it was obvious that they were considerate of our space.As you can see from the photos, the work is clean and frankly, perfect.We already have them coming back to do more work later this week, and we hope to add to our review! JBK did a basement build out for us recently and did a fantastic job. Justin, Derek, and crew were very helpful and informative, always letting us know what to expect, and what was upcoming. I could not recommend this company enough. We are very pleased with the work they did!

I have nothing but the highest praise for the JBK Construction team! Justin and Derek are so easy to work with, and they do what they say, quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price. They had some great design ideas for a basement finishing job at my rental home, and I could trust them to carry them out even when I was away on vacation, which they completed in less than three weeks! I am so glad I found these guys, I would recommend them to anyone!
