My first impression has remained intact as the summer months fly by. On my first trip into the office of Campfire Coworks, on a Friday morning, I arrived at around 7 am. Adam, one of the founders of KMI, asked me to come to the network event. Open to the public on Friday mornings, he would be giving a talk as there keynote speaker. This being what I came to expect, along with breakfast and coffee, there were plans to meet with Adam after the event to talk. This was about all I had in mind tho. I walked in through the front door, met by people, conversating amongst themselves, and one man, a bit separate from the rest, stepped forward and offered his hand with a smile. Energized, and glad to see me, I introduced myself and entertained with small talk to learn what I could, it was becoming clear that he had to be well established. After talking next to the door I came in through, in five minutes, give or take, he learned about all there was to know about me, and had offered a hand where I needed it, and when asked, offered his advice. At this point I thought he maybe staff perhaps an owner or maybe just a good dude willing to help out. Come to find out most at Campfire Coworks are friendly, willing to help out kind of people, although it was one of the owners that did welcome me in that day by the entrance. This was that good front of the line kind of feeling as I went for my first cup of coffee. I’ve never felt so welcome to be someplace. I had no doubt that I had just found the place I wanted to work, spend my time and make connections! The atmosphere was about the same amongst everyone attending. Every single person in the room had come there, early that Friday morning, because they had chosen to be there. (You could say that... is seemingly the key ingredient...) As good as a million dollar greet, if I’d ever seen one, in five minutes, I knew I could look forward to not only an office space, but the support of a team set up in the best environment I could have imagined. Amongst a diverse community of people, a wide range of skillset, knowledge, age and experiences, all under one roof. We live in an incredible moment in time, aware of the information available to us, and in the age of knowing the answer to any question you could conger up. Now it's how to ask the right question to get what you're looking for when you don't know what you don't know!? To collaborate freely within teams with similar interests, with the ability to accomplish more faster than ever. The speed at which my goals are proving to be attainable, things I hope to discover and accomplish, the staff at Campfire CoWorks have already exceeded any expectation one may have, and I am grateful to have met the Campfire team. Here it is more than just an office.

So amazing to have this work space in Ishpeming! And the cookies at Doozers at this site are amazing and a great pick-me-up to get through the workday. Customer support is quick and helpful

They offer more than just workspace – their supportive community and collaborative events have enabled me to transform beyond my initial vision. The members, mentors, administration, and the cultural fabric being woven within this co-op space are greatly appreciated. I'm truly thankful for the opportunities to learn, connect, and flourish in this environment

My boyfriend and I were spending a few days in Marquette and had to work for one of them. We planned to go to a coffee shop, but ended up finding Campfire Coworks and it was amazing! Located right in the center of town and a block from the water. We were able to go on quick walks and then get back to work. They have a private office you can go in if you have a call, little individual desks you can sit at or a community room. Everyone was SO nice and helpful. Free coffee & full kitchen. Highly recommend!

Campfire is really special in terms of coworking locations - the space is gorgeous, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and it has a nice vibe of people getting work done , but without feeling stuffy, pretentious, or corporate. My husband and I loved worked from here for a week and wish we had a place like Campfire back in Minneapolis - we have dozens of coworking spots at home but none of them come close!

As a seasoned remote worker, I've frequented countless coworking spaces. Yet, this space excels in terms of branding, functionality, and amenities. The amenities are thoughtful, combining practical work-oriented features with home-like comfort. The space's app (!) is an innovation, simplifying payments and access to the facility without worrying about key cards, fob, etc. I also had the pleasure of bumping into the owners who were a wealth of information, hospitality, and charm. In essence, this coworking space represents a perfect balance of thoughtful design, excellent service, and community spirit. And a must-visit for remote workers and locals alike.

Campfire CoWorks is great! I was getting a little weird working at home and was super happy to find an amazing place to work! I have a dedicated desk and I feel welcomed every time I walk in the door. If you’re looking a place to work, even just for a day or week, don’t sleep on this place. Cool space, great coffee, better people!
