My friends and I booked George’s Fire in the Valley tour about Pittsburgh’s steel production history which was terrific. George was charismatic, funny, knowledgeable, and intentional. He even let / made me reenact the iconic tunnel scene from Perks of Being a Wallflower which made me tear up. This tour gave us an engaging and memorable introduction to Pittsburgh which we’ll remember for years to come.

To give this tour only five stars would be an injustice. George is hands down the best tour guide you will ever encounter. His wealth of knowledge and engaging personality made Pittsburgh feel like home.He genuinely wants to get to know his guests and ensures you walk away understanding what makes Pittsburgh so special. George was simply amazing as a tour guide for us. My wife and I have taken several private tours in our travels and think the tour George gave us was the best we ever had. George’s knowledge of the area was simply off the charts which made our tour that much better. Even his recommendations for food were off the charts. Some of the best money we ever spent on a scale of 1-10 it is a 20. If you have a chance to tour with George don’t pass it up.
