Joe showed great flexibility and was extremely accommodating with regards to answering our questions, helping us with the necessary paperwork and outlining the local procedures. The boys found the videos on the website to be a valuable resource to prepare them for their first day on a shooting range. On the day of the range session, we arrived a little ahead of schedule and found Joe waiting for us, with everything on the range already prepped. Again, Joe helped us to get a few things sorted before the session started and then it was all about the boys. Joe’s both extremely professional and a natural instructor/teacher - observing through the glass windows behind the range, it was obvious to us as parents that Joe managed to keep the boys engaged, focussed and most definitely excited about their first steps shooting a gun. The boys have mentioned their experience on the range every day since the event and it will most definitely be one of their favorite memories of all time. A day after the event, Joe provided us with a number of well-edited videos of the boys’ day on the range, which the boys have already shared with all their friends and family members. I was visiting Sarasota for the month and wanted to take my aunt to range. She was a bit hesitant on her skills and wanted an instructor; she without a doubt made the best decision! He worked amazingly well with 2 people with two very different pistol skill sets & comfortability levels. Me, as a more comfortable gun owner, yet still having much more to learn (as we all should), vs.my aunt, a more inexperienced and semi-“timid” gun owner, he guided us both in the proper directions without slowing me down, etc. I was also deciding on my next gun purchase, coming from a Glock 19 (and more) to a subcompact/daily conceal carry pistol. He brought lots of different subcompacts for me to try and thankfully so! Because I ended up going with a G43 soon after testing (although his recommendation, along with the G43, was the S&M Shield Plus - which was amazing, and probably will be added to my collection shortly - I’m just personally more comfortable with Glocks). He was a master at correction with form, breathing techniques, safety handling, proper handling, dry shooting, target practice, etc. I’ve never learned more or had a more cool, fun, thorough & knowledgeable instructor!
